About us.
We are a semi-retired couple who love exploring and live aboard our 38ft yacht.
When on land, we enjoy pursuing our passions for permaculture, charitable works, teaching, and life in general.

Both Angela and Soraya work and study from home, so you can rest assured that there will be no separation anxiety issues for your furry friends when you leave them in our caring hands.

About us.

Both Angela and Soraya work and study from home, so you can rest assured that there will be no separation anxiety issues for your furry friends when you leave them in our caring hands.

Alexandre has a Master's degree in Engineering and is an excellent handyman with a great sense of humour.

He also holds a Permaculture Design Certificate and both Angela and Alex have worked as project managers on Great Mercury Island.

Angela is an entrepreneur, student of trust law, primary school age teacher, vegetarian chef and committed to a holistic way of raising and interacting with your pets.

She is a lover of all life and is passionate about growing nutrient-dense food and maintaining an organic diet.

When Alex is not available, Soraya is there to provide her gentle energy to all furry friends. Soraya is an artist and animal lover who has a special affinity for cats of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

Angela has experience in permaculture, soil building, and creating living systems.

We love all life and provide caring companionship for all animals. We have really good knowledge of how to ensure a healthy flock and know how to speak chicken.

For house-sits of 3weeks or more, we are willing to travel New Zealand wide if a car is supplied and the expenses involved in getting to the house-sit are covered by the house owner.

Our fox terrier Lily took to Angela straight away and I knew we had made a good choice even before we left for our trip. Communication was great and it was obvious that Angela cared a great deal about Lily's happiness and welfare throughout. As a bonus, the house was well cared for and clean and tidy throughout on our return. Highly recommended! :)
We were so pleased to have Alex stay in our home while we visited family in Canada for three weeks. Freddie, our Golden Retriever, was clearly in good hands from the photos that Alex shared through to his demeanor and health upon our return. The house was in great condition, too. Thanks Alex!
Anahera and Alex did a week long sit for me and I am so glad they were here. My animals were so loved and cared for. During their stay one of my chickens got very ill, Anahera was caring and knowledgeable, with fantastic communication and even leaving me a plan to care for her after they had left. My house was clean and tidy and my animals happy. Anahera is a very special, kind soul and I cannot recommend them highly enough to care for your animals.

I was very pleased with the care Anahera took if my home and dog. She went the extra mile by helping me with Wilson’s behaviour issues. I recommend her to others.
We were disappointed that additional people stayed in our house and we were not advised or asked if this was ok.

Ange & Alex were a lovely, reliable couple who stayed on our 180-acre farm, helped out with moving animals and watched over my elderly mother, who lives in another house on the property. They were always present for Mum, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away, and they kept in regular contact, responding promptly to any messages. Very happy with Angela and Soraya. House was left clean and tidy, cats were happy. Communication was great. Thanks Angela for taking care of things for me while we were away!
Angela gave our sheep and chickens much love and a beautifully mowed lawn was great to come home to.
Looked after our fur babies well. Not ideal that keys to house were lost

It was wonderful to be able to go overseas for 5 weeks knowing my animals and house were all being well cared for. Ange had great communication and went above and beyond to make sure the animals (Dog, Cats, Guinea Pig) were all well looked after and happy. The house was as i left it. Win win
Ange and Alex are very nice people and I am very happy with the way they looked after the dog, the hens and the house. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again or to recommend them to others.
Alex was such a great cat sitter my girls loved sleeping on her bed. She looked after my garden well too. Really tidy and a great communicator. I will ask her to come again next time I need a house sitter.
Ange is the best house/pet sitter we have ever had. She is an animal lover that truly enjoys being with your pets. Ange went over and above looking after our animals. She even feed organic veges she bought to our bunny. Dogs were walked everyday and Ange told us how much she enjoyed all the animals company. On our return, house was spotless and animals happy. I would have no hesitation recommending Ange to watch your animals when you are away.
Ange and Alex were the best house sitter! The pets were very well cared for and the house was immaculate! Was an absolute pleasure to come home to everything being so perfect. Can’t recommend them enough!! Thank you for caring for our pets and home so well
