hi,
We are a family living in Christchurch who have completed a lot of house-sits across NZ and in the UK.
We own our house, but enjoy looking after other people's homes and their pets as a chance to travel around the country.
Our kids are mad about pets and have plans to own a zoo when they are old enough - a few years away...
I work remotely so am able to be around the house all the time.
We are an active family so hope your pets like a good walk from time to time.

We have lots of experience looking after all sorts of pets and farm animals.
Our kids have had many wonderful memories getting to know and mind a lot of fun pets.

In particular, our 14 years old daughter is horse mad and has a lot of experience handling and managing ponies and some larger horses also.
I work remotely so am able to spend time during the day with walks, any medication required or tasks required in a farm setting.

We were both raised in rural Ireland and Wales respectively so have plenty of farm experience. Our 14 year old daughter has been horse-riding for 3 years and is now helping to mind horses for people on lifestyle blocks in the wider Christchurch area.

Eoghan, Rachel and family looked after our pet Strike for 4 days. They gave good communication and provided updates throughout the stay. He was well cared for and happy dog on our return (with a new sneaky sofa sleeping habit!!). 😀
Eoghan, Rachel, and family took great care of our animals and home. Would highly recommend!
Brilliant experience. They communicated quickly and were great housesitters. Kept us up to date when we were away and our dog loved them! Thanks so much guys, great knowing our house and animals were in good hands when we were away!
Eoghan & Rachel are AMAZING! It was a fairly last minute request after other plans went awry so we were very grateful when Rachel came the night before & spent almost 2hrs running through animal feeding & care regimes (patiently while I worked out new plans on the spot!). Added to our worries was a lame pony on various medication some of which was administered with a syringe orally. Rachel was willing to provide him with the necessary care and superbly managed the whole scenario without fuss ... MoreEoghan & Rachel are AMAZING! Great house and animal sitters. The family looked after our dog, cat, horse, chooks, pig and goat as well as house. All the animals were happy and house as if no one had been there. Wouldn't hesitate to ask them back.
Great communication throughout and came home to a nice tidy house and tired dogs! Thanks again guys!
Due to busy family commitments we ended up with just half of the family staying, Eoghan and Cormac held the fort and did a fantastic job. No dramas at all, wonderful communications, super thorough and attentive to detail. I can only imagine what things would be like if we had the full family muster staying. Highly recommend them as sitters and they're welcome back anytime.
Fantastic house sitters - came home to a happy cat and very tidy house. Would highly recommend and have them stay again any time.

Fabulous to Eoghan and family back again. They took wonderful care of Koda and the rabbits and left the house lovely and tidy on departure including washing the sheets and towels which was very helpful. We hope they will return again another day.

Very easy process with Eoghan and Rachel and their children. Took great care of the dog and the rabbits and kept us updated on how they were doing. Communication was easy and the house was left tidy with the sheets and towels washed. Highly recommend this family for pet sitting.
This was the perfect family to look after our house and dogs while we were overseas. Great communication and the dogs were very well looked after which was our primary objective. The kids are bright and respectful and played well with our two big dogs. Highly recommend and we would definitely have them back.
We are so happy this lovely family enjoyed their stay and loved taking care of our fury babies Our house was so clean and looked after and most importantly our pets were very happy too! Thanks so much for everything, we will definitely be in contact again. Happy pet sitting for now x

Eoghan spent two weeks during the summer holidays house sitting for us. He did a fantastic job on looking after our house, garden, one fish but most importantly our terrier, Otto - who he walked daily and we received lots of lovely pictures and updates. Would definitely recommend Eoghan for any future house sitting, he's a safe pair of hands!

We used Eoghan and his family for five weeks and found them to be great house sitters. They looked after two dogs and two cats and we came home to some very happy animals and a clean house. I am happy to endorse Eoghan and his family as house sitters to anyone.
