House sitting gives us the opportunity to enjoy being with animals. We have had many animals in our menagerie they were all part of our family always, We can experience a heap of fun and companionship while assuring you that your animals are well cared for and appreciated.

Simon and Tonya are homeowners and a New Zealand born couple who work part time, this allows us to be flexible to care for and enjoy your pet family and also explore different parts of New Zealand. As we are non smokers our preference would be for non-smoking pet sits.

We have been lucky enough to have animals - cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs as part of our family, and would be happy to care for you pets and house, anywhere in New Zealand - urban or rural.

Although we now live in Taupo, we have previously lived in Tauranga, and Auckland (both city and rural). We have also owned lifestyle blocks so are confident with most domestic and farm animals and farm processes.

We own and maintain our home (with a large semi rural section) which has a small studio attached where we run an Airbnb. As part of the guest experience in the studio and in our own home, cleanliness and house care is always top priority. We will always be considerate and careful of your home and spaces, only going where you want us to. Ensuring privacy for your pets and your home - we send photographs and pet updates while you are away, only to you, there is no posting on social media.

First time user and I feel like I hit the jackpot! Tonya and Simon were incredible!! My pets were really relaxed with them and you can clearly see that they are good, kind people. I was send photos and updates on outings and could see that all was fine, allowing myself and family to really enjoy our holiday! Could not have wanted anything more. Very special people with very special hearts.

This was another repeat sit by Tonya and Simon, and as usual they were fantastic. We would have them back any time!
Tonya and Simon were excellent house/pet sitters. Right from the offset Tonya and Simon were quick to respond to communications and happy to discuss our pets with me. It was clear they were keen to get to know our pets needs and understand their usual routines. While away, Tonya kept us informed with regular photo's and updates on how our pets were doing. We arrived home to very happy pets and a lovely, clean tidy home. Tonya and Simon had left a very thoughtful card and gorgeous handstitched ... MoreTonya and Simon were excellent house/pet sitters. Thank you Tonya and Simon. Everything well cared for. It was also lovely to get a couple of photos of Fred while we were away. Came home to a tidy house, a happy and content cat and a lovely bunch of flowers.
Tonya & Simon were absolutely lovely and took amazing care of our home and our labrador while we were away for 8 days. They kept me updated with special photos of our dog Rolly during our trip and the house was spotless and had a beautiful flower arrangement when we arrived back from our trip...along with a very happy pup. I would highly recommend Tonya and Simon to anyone looking to make sure their home is well cared for.

This was the second time we had Tonya and Simon to stay, and just like the first time they were absolutely fantastic. They were great communicators and very easy to deal with. Max the cat was very well looked after. I would have them back anytime 😊
Fantastic sitters! Great communicators, provided wonderful care for the kitten and house above and beyond expectations. House was sparkling clean when I arrived! Highly recommend Tonya and Simon!!!!
Tonya and Simon did a wonderful job taking care of two dogs, fish, plants, garden, and our home. Their communication was excellent, both before and during the sit. Our dogs enjoyed lots of walks and attention and Tonya made a beautiful blanket for them.
Tonya and Simon took great care of our house and pets. We had regular updates and pictures to show how our crew were doing while we were away. The house was lovely and tidy when we came home, they even tidied our pantry and cleaned our windows. The blanket for Oscar was a lovely touch. Happy to recommend them to anyone.
Tonya and Simon were fantastic house sitters. They took great care of the pets, house and garden and kept in contract before, during and at the end of their stay, We highly recommend them.

I don't think there are words to do Tonya and Simon justice - they were truly phenomenal. From the onset communication was first class, they were so approachable. Nothing was too much trouble, the house was immaculate when we got home, the lawns had been mowed even though we hadn't asked them too and the dogs had obviously been so well cared for. It was such a joy to have Tonya and Simon do our house sit. What a lovely couple who were genuine and warm. They took amazing care of our fur babies and even made them the most gorgeous pet blankets while we were away! They were great with communications and we feel very lucky to have had them stay in our home. We hope you might want to come back some time guys! Florence and Bodie miss you too!

Tonya and Simon have house sat for us a number of times, I couldn't recommend them enough, they are amazing. Great communicators, they send us photos of our dog which is hugely appreciated and they keep the house clean and tidy. I would have them back anytime.

Tonya and Simon house sat while we were overseas. They have house sat for us before. I feel very comfortable leaving our very loved dog with them. They keep us updated, are great communicators, and I would love to have them again.
The loveliest housesitters that left our home spotless and took great care of our dog. Excellent daily communication during their stay, Tonya and Simon took great care of our home. Can't recommend them enough, they even left a lovely wee gift for our dog :-)

Tonya and Simon were amazing. It was our first time using kiwi house sitters and I was nervous about how it worked. Tonya and Simon kept in regular contact, they sent us photos of Charlie and the house was immaculate with little super thoughtful gifts left. We would love to have them back again.

Tonya and Simon came to sit for us for 4 days. Communication was incredible! Such a lovely couple who made a special effort to come and understand our needs prior to the sit. Progress pictures of the animals were great too. House left immaculate! Highly recommend.
Thank you Tonya & Simon for taking such wonderful care of Maybee & Macie. They can be very needy at times. Everything was just perfect when we arrived home. Glad you enjoyed your stay & managed to catch up with family.
After a rather wobbly start, due to concerns about Sasha having been spayed and having a "turned-in eyelid op". a week before the sit, Tonya and Simon arrived. Happily, all went very well and I came home to a beautifully cared for house and a very happy and well exercised dog. There were even leftovers in the fridge for dinner. I would thoroughly recommend Tonya & Simon to anyone wanting their house and pets cared for. They were a lovely couple, who communicated well and even stopped by the vet ... It was so lovely to come home to a beautifully clean and tidy house with a gorgeous bunch of flowers to welcome us home. Our pets were well looked after and we appreciated the communication and photos sent to us to put us at ease. We highly recommend Tonya and Simon to house sit for you if you get the chance to have them in your home. Thanks again Tonya and Simon.
Simon and Tonya are a lovely couple who kept in touch through the whole process including updates and pics of our pets. Everything was ship shape when we got home as if we hadn't left - very relaxed animals and a clean oven! Definitely recommended.
Tonya and Simon were great house sitters. Great communication, we loved the daily photos of our fur and feather babies, it set our minds at ease. The house was immaculate when we got back. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Tonya and Simon were the best Housesitters, thank you so much for looking after our fur babies and our home. Our home was cleaner than we left it, my kitchen draws had a make over, my windows we cleaned. Fantastic communication. Would highly recommend Tonya and Simon and will have them back anyday. It was so lovely to be away and not have to worry about home , thanks for making our trip even better than it was xx

This was our first time using house sitters and it was great to meet Simon and Tonya. They were excellent people to have in our house and were well organised, punctual and excellent communicators. Our animals loved having them here and they genuinely loved looking after them. Thoroughly recommened.
We are incredibly thankful for how our house and furry family members were cared for while we were away. Wonderful communication, punctual, reliable and caring. Our house looked better than when we left! We would welcome these guys back in a heartbeat - you would be foolish to overlook them
