LAST MINUTE AVAILABILITY FROM 4 MAY 2026 - We are kind and caring kiwis in our early 40s with over five years experience house and pet sitting. We've been privileged to look after many pets of various sizes, breeds and personalities! Cats and dogs are our main speciality but we have cared for many other animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, chickens, caged birds, farm animals). We have flexibility to be around during at least some of the day to hang out with your pets if needed.

Pet care

We are experienced with various dog breeds from puppies to older dogs, happy to ensure they get adequate exercise and give medication with food. We have looked after lots of cats and also given medication by mouth.

Megan and Damon were fantastic and very experienced house sitters. Communication was excellent both before and during the housesit. We were very reassured that our dog was being well looked after. They looked after our house extremely well and the garden was looked after better than it usually is by us. We came home after two weeks away to a sparkling clean house, flourishing garden and happy dog. Couldn’t ask for more than that! Thanks again.

This was the second time we used Megan & Damon, and again it was easy communication and my dog Max was looked after perfectly. Would definetly use them agian. Thanks.
We were so grateful to have Megan and Damon care for our house and our puppy while we were away. They communicated clearly, went the extra mile for Wilfy and left the house immaculate. Would highly recommend them as house sitters and would be happy to have them again.

We signed up quite last minute due to some health issues with one of our cats, and wanting them to be in safe hands. Megan was great at walking me through the process and I felt really comfortable with Megan and Damon looking after our home and cats. While we were away, it was great to get updates over WhatsApp about how everything was going at home, and our home was left in spotless condition. I wouldn't hesitate to ask them to house/petsit for us again.

We had Megan and Damon do a house sit for a couple of nights, there communication was excellent, initially and throughout the stay, This gave us total confidence that our dogs were going to be in great hands. They totally respected our house, which they left it in perfect condition on their departure, they even stripped the bed and washed the sheets etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending Megan and Damon to any one who wants great pet and house sitters. regards Dave and Anne

Once again Megan and Damon were awesome. We came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. This is the second time they have sat for us. They were easy to get hold of and put our mind at ease. Thanks again.
Megan and Damon are the best. Communication is amazing, care of house is amazing, and we come back to pets that are well looked after and well exercised. Additionally both times we have had these guys sit for us it has been at extremely short notice. We highly recommend them to everyone.

Megan and Damon housesat for us for 3 weeks over New Year period 25/26. Despite the sit being arranged at relatively short notice such that we were unable to meet in person prior, their quality of communication gave us much confidence that we were leaving our home, 2 cats and dog in great hands. During the sit they kept us in the loop with many photos of very happy and content pets and even offered to clear the neighbours overflowing mailbox! We had a fantastic experience with Megan and Damon who stayed for 4 days and looked after our cat, Harry. They were reliable, respectful, and left everything in perfect order. Harry was clearly well cared for, and we had no worries at all. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately Megan and Damon had to leave early which left us in a bit of a dilemma. The house was left fine.
We had to leave early due to an unexpected family situation which suddenly cropped up during the sit with a close relative being very unwell out of Auckland. As much notice as possible was given to Gesa (two days) that other arrangements would need to be made for Elle's care. We took special care ... Megan and Damon were fabulous sitters for our dog, cat and house. They left the place so clean and tidy, going beyond to really impress. I look forward to the next visit from them. Thank you again for such great care of everything!
Megan and Damon took excellent care of our 2 big dogs (not an easy task!). They were walked and looked after so that we did not worry about them at all. They also left our house spic and span. It was fantastic to receive updates and photos from them while we were away. Would definitely recommend to others and will use again if we can.

Megan and Damon left our house in a great way; it was nice to come home to a tidy and clean place. They also did a great job at watering our freshly sown lawn seed daily to keep it growing which we were grateful for. Good communication throughout our trip.

Megan responded at very short notice (the day before) to get me out of a jam when the sitter I had arranged could no longer do the sit. I would usually meet sitters first but I was comfortable that Boh would be in very good hands. It was only for a couple of days, but Megan & Damon did a thorough clean anyway and left the house looking amazing! Boh was happy, getting in lots of cuddles and tail wagging.
This was our first time using a house sitter and we were very happy with our experience. Megan was easy to communicate with and felt comfortable leaving our house and dog in her care. We came home to a clean house and a very happy dog! Would definitely recommend Megan and her partner.

Megan and Damon communicated well, knew just what questions to ask and we arrived home to a very happy and relaxed dog. Walks and games, and a photo of him settled in was appreciated. Our home was clean and sparkly with cookies awaitingbour arrival. Sheets washed and put back on the bed, so very grateful! Thank you both so very much!!

Melissa advised a few hours before the sit was due to start that her father was taking the dog. No consideration was given of our efforts to be accommodating and what had been agreed. Unfortunately despite our best intentions we couldn't complete the sit after an urgent unexpected family situation arose. Megan and Damon were great house sitters. The house was left very tidy and Freya (our Labrador) seemed totally unphased by our absence so they must have taken good care of her. Communication was good and they sent helpful updates while we were away. I'd certainly have them house sit again.
Really pleased, these folks are just terrific, most certainly should we be away again we would hope that Damon and Megan were available. my only grouse is that all the times we try to keep our white groodle clean, without any luck. Megan has the magic touch and we returned home to a very clean white dog, how on earth, only kidding of course about a grouse we were just surprised. Thanks to both of you. Stan

Wow! What can we say about Megan and Damon!! Absolutely amazing and extremely thorough doesn't even scratch the surface. As animal lovers ( we live on a lifestyle block) it is always a risk and a worry when you leave not only your house, but also your animals in the care of a relative stranger. However, Megan was unbelievable and it quickly became apparent that she too had an animal caring nature as well. Our chickens have never been so well fed and looked after and it was so pleasing to come ... MoreWow! What can we say about Megan and Damon!! Our 2 beautiful black labs ( Lily and Bolt) had a great time and were well cared for in our absence. Megan even sent us a photo of them both asleep in the middle of the floor after a busy day. My wife Julie has spent an enormous amount of time and energy on constructing a garden - a garden that needs constant watering. After a few teething issues and some excellent communication on Megan's part, we came home to an extremely lush garden. Our house was pristine on our arrival home - the vacumming had been done and the rest of the house was extremely clean and tidy. We would have no hesitation in getting Megan and Damon to house sit again, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They are extremely trustworthy and very easy to communicate with. Thank you sincerely Megan and Damon for enabling our family to enjoy a worry-free holiday - you are both awesome!!

Megan and Damon were great house sitters who I'd gladly have back again. They were great with pre-sit communication and able to come and visit to go over the details. They kept us updated through the week and left the house in great condition. The animals were loved and looked after really well. Thank you guys, we really appreciated you being such great sitters.
