Hi pet parents,

I love my animals and understand how important it is to know they are in good hands when you're away from home. I've been house sitting for about 8 years now and have gained a lot of insight and experience. It's been a fantastic journey and one I never of imagined doing until I met a vet nurse who encouraged me to do so

To have your furry family members at home, instead of in a kennel or cattery, is wonderful for everyone. I'm very happy to send you photo's and video's while your away so you can see how they're doing and say hello to them!

I'm a registered house sitter with another company as well as being on KHS which means I have a Police background check and have been trained in house sitting protocols. This is required by the other House Sitting Company but not on here.

I work on line so location isn't a problem and I'm willing to travel around as I enjoy it. It's been great to visit different parts of NZ and make some new furry friends along the way!
If I'm not in your area at the time we could do a video call and have a chat.

Geri was a wonderful house-sitter. I returned home to very happy cats and the house was immaculately clean and tidy. Layla& her very cautious shy brother Zippy were both content and happy in Geri's company. Communication was great before, during and after the house sit and I received some lovely videos of the cats while i was away. I can highly recommend Geri and most importantly, she received a 5 star approval rating from Layla and Zippy :)

Geri has stated several times that her main priority was to care for our animals, 1 dog, 2 chickens and 4 cows. I agree that she has done that very well. However, another part of our agreement was to mow the lawns. We have three separate lawns, one is completely level, the other two are slightly elevated. When we showed her the place before we left, she was very confident that she knew how to use a ride on and nothing was a problem for her. She found the slope difficult, so she refused to ... Geri unfortunately slipped on the wet timber ramp and broke her wrist the day before we returned. I wish her a speedy recovery. I am happy to discuss with any home owner about our experience.

PROBLEMS AT JANETTE'S PROPERTY: VERMIN- RAT, MICE AND COCKROACH INFESTATION Couldn't leave the doors open for long as rats,but mainly mice, would come inside the house. I had to vacuum up mice/rat droppings (feces) regularly & disinfect the kitchen floor&shelves.The mice were in the ceiling as well, you could hear them scuttling around every night. Was worried they'd chew through wires and cause an electrical fire. LAWNS: Her ad said nothing about sloped lawns. I have a screenshot to prove it .I did not contract to mow slopes. I told her I had no exp with slopes but a flat lawn was fine, Angels of 15 degrees NSfe.

Geri came for a short sit while we were away for the weekend. It didn’t take long for our cat to warm up to Geri and it was great to be able to go away knowing he was relaxed and perfectly happy to hang out with a new person in the house. Thanks Geri.
Geri was great, very personable and considerate. Our cavoodle Ruby loved her and tried to get in Geri's car at the end of the sit! Highly recommend Geri and hope to see her again some time.

We found Geri an excellent house sitter and would definitely have her again if the situation arises. She took very good care of our pets and we were thrilled to come home and find them all well and happy. Our little dog was very quiet for a day, I'm sure he was missing her. The house was very clean and tidy when we got home, it looked like no one had been living in it. Geri sent us updates about our pets and photos and videos which were lovely to receive. Thank you Geri
Geri was an awesome sitter. Geri had to let us know our 16 1/2 year old Welsh Terrier had died and deal with the aftermath. Geri is a very kindhearted person. Would highly recommend Geri.
Geri was an absolute dream! She took such great care of my fur babies and left the house spotless. A total professional — she even brought her own bedding. It was such a relief to have someone so trustworthy in my home. I can now see exactly why her reviews are so glowing. Highly recommend!
We were so blessed to find Geri at almost the last minute. We call Geri a cat whisperer. Our two cats are timid and generally hide when strangers are around. Geri however had them won over quickly which put our minds to rest. Geri communicated, sent us pics and little videos regularly, which clearly showed the cats relaxed. Geri left our house tidy and clean. We are glad Geri enjoyed some of what our area has to show off. For us, knowing the pussy cats were well looked after and relaxed in her ... Geri did a great job looking after our place and puss, despite the hot, dry summer conditions. Peanut was very happy, the tomatoes were waiting in the fridge for freezing, and the house was very tidy. Geri kept us well informed whilst we were away too. Thanks Geri, you’re a great house sitter!

Geri did a great job caring for our two cats who needed regular sunblock. She looked after our house wonderfully and was so prepared she even came with her own wifi setup. Our boys loved spending time with Geri and we wish her well with her future house sits.
Geri was a an attentive, caring pet sitter and coped exeedingly well with the eccentricites of our house and elderly dog! We came home to a relaxed cat, dog, chooks and bird and it's such a bonus not having to clean as the house was scrupulously clean and tidy. Thanks Geri!
I'd highly recommend Geri as a responsible and quiet housesitter. My bunnies were super happy and doing well after our two weeks away so that's all I'm worried about really. But it was lovely to come back to a clean and tidy house too!

Geri was a wonderful house sitter. She kept in contact with us with videos and photos. we came home to a very happy dog and a love;ly tidy house. Geri is very conscientious and caring. An excellent house sitter who I would recommend to anyone. We certainly will be asking Geri again, needs be.

She only stayed for one week and between Geri and our brother-in-law they managed to sort out other sitters, but we found it very stressful being over the other side of the world and having everything out of our control. Geri did an amazing job looking after our house and cats while we were away overseas! She has excellent communication, where she updated us regularly and sent us photos of the cats. One of the cats is quite shy, however she was patient with him and took the time to let him warm up to her so he was a very relaxed cat when we returned home. The house was also spotless! We cant thank Geri enough! Would highly recommend :)
Geri is a wonderful house sitter with a warm and friendly personality. She completed a month-long housesit for me, looking after my modern home and young cat. Geri's communication was excellent throughout - she sent me regular updates and photos while I was away. It was lovely to come home to a very clean and tidy home and a contented cat. Geri was very easy to communicate with from the beginning and we kept in touch. When there was a water problem she was able to contact a neighbour and between us all we sorted it. It was great to come home to lovely vegies and a sparkling house.
Geri did a great job of looking after our 2 cats, the ducks, the outdoor pots and the house. She communicates well, is friendly and bonded well with the cats despite one being "special needs". We would recommend her as a very good Sitter.
Geri was great to have in our house looking after our two pets. She was a great communicator, letting us know when she arrived and phoning us just before she left. We would highly recommend Geri to look after your furry friend(s) and house. We were away for 2 months and our house was immaculate when we got home. She kept us informed about Poppy and sent photos. Poppy was in great shape when we got home. Geri bought toys for Poppy. She' warm and caring and we'd have her back any time.
Geri is a conscientious person. She was careful to bring her own supplies, contribute to power costs and make sure my cat was well looked after. The house was in good order and my cat happy. Thanks Geri.

She insisted on using her own bedding, linen and cookery and bought her own food etc. The house was very tidy upon arrival, she even bought our little kittens new homes that she had set up in the lounge. The animals were clearly loved by her and taken good care of as we could see in their behaviour when we returned. The kittens were all over her and our dog looked very happy to be in her company. We were very pleased with Geri and were taken back when she purchased fresh flowers and a bottle of wine for us on our return. Our girls two cats were fit and well on our return and appeared happy to have Geri care for them.
