Jamie & Chloe

We both work in the environmental sectors and enjoy being outdoors. Chloe works monitoring marine mammals (whales and dolphins) for the Department of Conservation in the southern Fiords - Jamie works as a terrestrial ecologist, designing/implementing conservation programmes for a range of threatened species. We have a 2 month old son, Caspian, who would be with us on any house sits.

We both love animals and relish the chance to be look after pets (our jobs make it very difficult to own our own!). Chloe has extensive animal husbandry experinece having worked as an animal keeper for several years - handy to know animals should any unexpected incidents pop up!

We house sat for 2 different couples (both friends of friends) in Dunedin last winter and found it a really great way to spend some more intentional time in a place. We have family in Whangarei heads so the dream is to spend some proper time up there rather than a fly by night visit.

We have a large garden at home and too many house plants -enjoy time spent in the garden. We are clean and tidy people, respectful of others and how they choose to live.

We own our own home and live in Te Anau (Southland)
