The last of our children have left home and we are ready for the next stage of our lives AND new adventures! We want to see the country and hope to make new friends along the way. House sitting is a wonderful opportunity to live for a little while in a new location and really get to know the area and what is has to offer.

House sitting is a wonderful opportunity to live for a little while in a new location and really get to know the area and what is has to offer.

We would rather care for someone's home than spend our time in a hotel. We enjoy all aspects of home life and get a real sense of pleasure in helping out.

We have seven children, so nothing frazzles us! We have been dairy farmers, commercial cleaners, owned a landscaping and lawn mowing business, owned a life style property, managed an apartment complex of 105 units and in our spare time we developed property. We can fix most things, care for most animals, domestic and farm. We are very practical people and hugely house proud. Gardens and lawns we maintain because we love them, not because they are a chore. We keep a very clean and tidy home, inside and out, and we wish to care for homes of like minded people and tidiness.

We think over the years' of raising our children, there is probably not a pet we haven't care for. Not only will you come home to a clean home, you'll come home to happy fur-babies as well. So far our experiences have been fantastic and we are very pleased to say that everyone has loved having us care for the home and animals so far :-)

From the first moment we met with Gaylene and Graeme we knew they were a perfect couple for our house sit. They are clearly very experienced house sitters and excellent with dogs. We came home to very happy well cared for dogs and our house and grounds were looking immaculate ( even better than when we left!) We feel truly blessed that we were able to leave our home and dogs in such safe hands and are delighted to have met such a lovely couple. I don't have enough words to praise them ... Gaylene and Graham were fantastic house sitters and we would highly recommend them. Bertie our dog seemed very happy with them and they looked after everything so well. The house was very clean and tidy, and the lawn was mown which we really appreciated. Also they were really great at communicating .

Graeme and Gaylene took exceptional care of our two cats, Caxton and Storm, as well as leaving the house scrupulously tidy and clean. They also sent us frequent updates and photos of our pets. We knew we could relax as they were in capable and caring hands. It made a huge difference to our holiday knowing this. I can unreservedly recommend them based on our experience.

I would highly recommend Gaylene & Graeme when looking for a house sitter. We had excellent communication both before and during the house sit. They left my house spotlessly clean and tidy and I my cat was lovely and settled when I got home. I was so comfortable having them in my home.

Gaylene and Graeme were fantastic guests in our home. they looked after all our animals with great care and kept us well informed if they had any questions or concerns. Was so easy to come home to our house with everything as it was when we left. They kept our small farm ticking over just as we would have. Perfect match for our place and their farm experience!
It was wonderful to come home to a spotless home and garden. Everything was so well cared for and communications were prompt and helpful. It was encouraging to have confidence that the minor issues were able to be resolved quickly and smoothly. We were so lucky to find Gaylene and Graeme, who actually ended up looked after our home, grounds and cat for 4 weeks. Everything was immaculate on our return, it was a wonderful feeling. As for our cat "Lucky" she was very content. Gaylene keep great contact with us. Graeme had mowed the lawns, sprayed the weeds, it was fantastic. Gaylene & Graeme were ideal house sitters for our home and animals. Practical and attentive, they kept us well informed, while we were abroad, about anything that might be important. It was great to return to a beautifully clean home and tidy garden.

We have no hesitation endorsing Gaylene and Graeme to anyone who is looking for caring house sitters and pet minders. Gaylene and Graeme responded quickly to our ad and were happy to make themselves available to meet and talk with us prior to confirmation. They looked after our home and our elderly cat for 6 weeks, while we were overseas, with absolutely no issues. We returned home to a lovely clean home, and very happy cat. We would totally recommend them.

Gaylene and Graeme looked after my house and Merlot, my cat for 6 weeks and were very attentive to everything. They have a love of animals, life and gardening. They were very engaged in this house sit and other projects that they have in the go. A delightful couple, trustworthy and reliable, who will look after your pets and home with due care and attention.

Just wanted to say a big thankyou to Gaylene for our house sit. She and her husband did a great sit with our difficult little girl Molly. Molly has trust issues but we came back to a healthy happy dog and a nice clean house. Thank you both for a great job would highly recommend them both
