We are Janet and Colin, an active semi retired couple, who have owned and loved dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, pigs & chickens over the years. We would now love to look after your home and pets.

favoriteWhy we love house sitting

House sitting offers a fabulous opportunity to travel around New Zealand and live like a local while doing a service for others. Having animals and house pets to cuddle up to and care for is an absolute bonus.

Colin and I are both retired after careers with the New Zealand Government and local council.

We enjoy all animals including the native birds we feed in our beautiful bush section in Southland.

Sadly we recently lost our beloved 15 year old dog Daisy, but it has allowed us an opportunity to look after and enjoy other people's pets, while holidaying at the same time.

We are happy to consider anywhere in New Zealand, all we need is plenty of warning to plan and a good internet connection and wifi to do a few hours work on our laptop each week. We look forward to hearing from you.

Pet care

We have owned and loved having our own dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, pigs and chickens over the years. We look after other family members pets and homes when they are away and enjoy interacting with farm animals and snuggling on the couch with inside pets.
