Hello! We will be on holiday in December/January and are hoping to find a reliable, animal-loving house sitter. We typically travel once or twice a year for a few weeks, and would ideally find someone who may be interested in coming back multiple times, though are happy with a one off as well.

We have a comfortable home in Havelock North, right near a lovely park and within walking distance of the village filled with restaurants, shops, and cafes. The house is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a studio sleep out. We have 2 indoor/outdoor dogs who require a long walk daily, and an affectionate indoor/outdoor cat.

This housesit was great!! Such a beautiful area with lots to explore. Maggie was excellent in communicating before, during and after the sit. Any message I sent received a quick, helpful reply. The outside animals take care of themselves although they were really happy to have a scratch every now and again. Romeo the donkey can be very noisy but he is a good guard donkey as well. Maggie's home is a lovely beautiful rural property with a collection of animals that will keep you entertained throughout your stay. The house is comfortable and easy to manage. My 10 yr old granddaughter had a grand time feeding the chickens and collecting eggs and feeding Calypso the dog and Enzo the cat.
