We require someone to feed and care for our home and pets while we go away. Most of the care is quick and easy, food and water to the birds, check stock water, feed Guinea pigs, one cat will need daily medication. Rural views and 10mins from the beach, lots of space, it's a big house, sleeps 10-14 people in 4 bedrooms plus a large playroom. We have two kayaks available for your use at the estuary at Kairakau beach. The waterhole by Patangata pub is another popular swimming location.

Great communication with Shari over messenger. We loved the housesit, was great that we could bring our 7.5month old son and our golden doodle too, the whole family was welcome. Our son was fascinated with the 2 cockatiels flying around the living room at dinner time and he loved the old cat bhaghera who was such a sweetheart so gentle and loving. What a lovely experience at Shari's place! I learned how to feed birds, that's was nice. I really loved the view from their place as well. Remi, the german shorthaired pointer is my new love! I just want one like him now! Such a lovely good. The old cat, Bagera, was with us most of the time, but we didnt see the young black cat, Mowgali so often. He is very shy. Thank you Shari and your family for having us at your place. Their place is located in a peaceful location were we had the best opportunity to take care of birds (60+) and learned a lot along the way. We also looked after guinea pigs, dog( crazy Remi) and cats(playful Sherkan and hypnotizing Bagera) for our great pleasure. Communication with Shari was clear and simple.
