We're Suzanne and Roger and have lived in New Zealand for over 15 years after moving from the UK. We love animals and after our lovely old lady cat Snorkel passed away, we took the opportunity to look after other people's animal family members and get to see more of Europe during 2017 and 2018 (if you search for housesitters in Christchurch, NZ on trustedhousesitters, you'll hopefully find our twelve 5 star reviews from other pet and home owners - unfortunately kiwihousitters doesn't allow us to link to this page).

We know how much Snorkel loved the security and comfort of home and how concerned we always were about her when we were away, so we understand what an important decision it is for you to trust someone else with your animal family members wellbeing.

Suzanne's freakishly neat nature combined with Roger's fun and calming way with animals provides the perfect combination for looking after both your home and pets. Both of us grew up with animal family members and we understand the care and love needed to keep them happy and secure especially when you're not there. Before heading to Europe we thoroughly enjoyed 3 sitting experiences in New Zealand. In Europe, we made some lovely new human and animal friends in the UK and Italy before returning to more New Zealand sits.

Now that we are back and Roger's job is flexible and he can do it from anywhere with a decent internet connection, we're looking to make the most of these circumstances and explore New Zealand as much as we possibly can. We appreciate it's a big decision deciding who to choose from the people who apply to you, so we would be delighted to "meet" you online so you can find out more about us.
