I am requested back regularly. I have been house sitting in the Auckland area since Jan 2014.
As a house sitter, I will stay in your home while you are away and look after it as if it was my own, take care of your animals in the comfort of 'their' home and love them as if my own. I will keep in contact by text or email as required.
I am a experienced house sitter who loves animals, I have house sat many homes, with cats, chooks, fish, cows etc, I have looked after many elderly and timid cats and enjoy their company immensely as they are so rewarding. All the home owners have been very happy with my services and are happy to provide references.

Julie was wonderful to deal with, great communication style and very trustworthy. She gained the trust of our 18 years old timid slightly delicate cat very quickly and kept me up to date right from the start so I could completely chill. We returned to a very clean house and two happy cats. We'd love to see Julie again to look after our house and cats!
Julie was an amazing house sitter. She took great care of our home and our cat. She left our place tidier than we did and had even washed the bed sheets. This was our first time getting a house sitter who we didn't know and she was amazing. We would definitely ask her to house sit again :)
Genuinely could not have asked for any more. We engaged Julie to look after our cat Stripes for eight months while we were in the UK however due to unexpected circumstances, our plans changed and it ended up being two months. She was so understanding of our situation and incredibly flexible. She looked after our little boy so well, even bought him a little mouse toy which he still loves to play with. Julie did a wonderful job of caring for our young kittens and keeping them safe while we were away. We came home to a lovely clean home and she was very understanding and accepting of a shortened stay due to Auckland lockdown requiring us to cut our holiday short. Thanks Julie.
Julie helped us out last minute and was completely unfazed by the shortness of time to prepare and having 2 dogs to care for.

Julie petsat/house sat for me in October and I am very happy & grateful to her. I was anxious as it was the first time we had anyone house sit for us & she put my mind to ease. Our beagles were happy & settled and house was fine & tidy when we returned. Will definitely contact Julie again for housesitting & taking care of my beagles!
Julie was a wonderful sitter, she cared for my cats beautifully and my Ragdoll is not the easiest cat to get on with but they managed just fine. When I got back both cats were relaxed and my place was neat and tidy, I couldn't have asked for a better person to leave my home (and it's contents) with!
She's mature kind and caring.

We can't praise Julie enough, she is such a lovely person and did a fantastic job looking after our dog and house with garden.
After 3 weeks we came home to a happy and relaxed dog, a well tended garden (with lots of of young plants which needed regular watering during the hot summer weather) and a super clean and tidy home. Julie even put some essentials for us in the fridge. Thank you so much, will definitely get in touch again!

Julie house and pet sit for us for a week at the end of Oct 17. Our dog is an older dog so required some extra TLC, we also have two cats, a horse and two cows. Julie contacted us on our holiday to let us know all was ok which was great. We came home to happy pets and a well looked after home.Julie is a lovely person and easy to talk with. Julie housesat for us from 7 Oct to 14 Oct 2017, which included looking after our 4 yr old Labrador dog, Rosie. All initial communication was very prompt, straight forward and hassle free. Once I met Julie, I immediately felt at ease and knew that Rosie would be in capable hands. There were no issues and upon return, our home had been left neat and tidy. I absolutely would recommend Julie to look after your home and pets.
We were very grateful to Julie for looking after our cats and home so well. She was great at keeping in touch while we were away and made a real effort to reassure our timid rescue cat, who usually bolts at the sight of strangers, but who was comfortable with her from day 1 (while our other cat settled straight onto her bed!). We would happily invite Julie back and would recommend her highly.
Julie house and dog-sat in June for us and we couldn't have been happier or more grateful for the amazing way she took care of our mischievous Border Collie and home. She even oversaw some tradie work which we really appreciated!
From the minute we met Julie we felt completely at ease and comfortable with our decision to have a sitter and Julie kept us updated with how things were going while we were away which was great!

Julie came in to housesit and take care of our two elderly dogs for us while we went away to our daughter's wedding. Communication / contact with Julie from the start was excellent. We had a real peace of mind going away ... and on our return - the dogs were relaxed and happy. (And the house immaculate). Without hesitation, we highly recommend Julie as a house sitter.
