We are a young, active family that moved to NZ at the end of 2020 from South-Africa and we just love adventures and exploring new areas of this beautiful country.
We love animals, nature & the outdoors and our 8 year old daughter is an "animal whisperer". Any animal or insect instantly turn into her pets.
We are neat and tidy people, non smoking, and will take good care of your house, property and animals. We are home owners and know the challenges that come with that. Ewan loves working with dogs and used to train and hunt with our family dog, a German shorthaired pointer named Coco. He also has a special love for tropical fish and has always had an aquarium (or two) in the house.
House sitting is something that we do as an experience and farms are our favorite. Rotorua is our home at this stage and we are keen to do weekends or holidays anywhere in the country and even long term for places near Rotorua.

It was lovely having this family stay. They took great care of our home and pets, and were so good at communicating with us so we could have a worry free time away! Would welcome them back anytime!
Naomi & her family were fabulous Housesitters. The kids immediately fell in love with the animals, and Naomi & Ewen are both highly capable & competent people who proved to be entirely trustworthy.
Naomi & her family were great with all my animals - cats, dog, horse, donkeys, sheep and chickens - and all were well looked after while we were away.

Naomi and her family were the perfect family to look after our two dogs, cat, calf and sheep. We returned home to very happy animals. Naomi also helped with our B&B, welcoming a new group of guests into the cottage and cleaning it. We would certainly welcome them back again. It makes travelling away much easier when you know everything is running smoothly at home.

However, Naomi and her family took very good care of our animals! We came back to happy dogs, very tidy house, happy chickens and cats. Thank you so much it was very much appreciated and we hope you did enjoy your weekend away! The kids are lovely and our daughter still talks about them. All the best Naomi!!
Naomi and family couldn't have been more perfect Housesitter's.
The house was immaculate when we got home. The garden and lawns were well looked after.
They even left a puzzle for our kids, a couple of balls and delicious chocolates in a bowl on the bench and on each pillow. It was like walking into a hotel room, there was nothing out of place and super clean.
They looked after the cat and horses, taking them riding and for walks. The cat was well cuddled.
