Willing & Able

69, Retired

I grew up on a lifestyle block in Taranaki. We had a house cow, which I milk after school. We also had chooks, ducks, a goat, dog & cat, occasional calf, and had a horse for a short while. I have always loved animals, and quite comfortable in a pair of gum boots should the need arise.
After marrying we moved Hastings. I was convinced we had an invisible sign on our gate that said all pets welcome, and stray cats (and one time a Golden Lab) would just turn up at our door....much to the delight of my 3 daughters.
Over the years we had dogs, puppy's, rescue cats, rescue dog, rescue lamb, and even a rescue foal all in our suburban back yard :)

After finding my self on my own, I decided I needed a companion, and fell in love with a Bishone whom I named Bonita. She was my special very best friend and companion for 14yrs.....sadly she has gone where all our precious fur babys go.... Gone but never forgotten :)

My circumstances are such, that I am unable to have a pet of my own where I'm living, but as I'm now retired, I'm free to come and go at leasure.

I am honest, reliable and a none smoker.

If you think I would be a suitable fit, I would take great delight in caring for your fur baby's while you go off on life's adventures for R&R. :):)

Kind regards

P.S. Im house sitting for a gorgious little fur baby from 16th Sep to 15th Nov .........2 months 4 days.
I'm available anytime after those dates :)

Barb was a fantastic house sitter. She came to our rescue at short notice when our house sitter decided she couldn't come. Barb took great care of our chickens, ducks and pony. She communicated well throughout, kept us up to date and told us of problems that arose. House was left beautifully with fresh flowers from the garden. I had no worries about her managing our lifestyle block whilst we were away. I would definitely recommend her and we would have her back if we could.
