Hello, my name is Claire. I'm originally from Australia where I trained and worked as a Veterinary Nurse for 3 years before starting my own Dog Walking and Pet Sitting business. You can check out my old instagram business page, @ tailsontrailstsv to see what I used to get up to in Australia. I love taking photos so you'll always be updated with lots of happy snaps of your pets.

It goes without saying, I have plenty of experience in the pet care industry and feel comfortable looking after all sorts of animals. I'm also very aware that staying in someone else's home is a huge responsibility and one I don't take lightly. I will keep your home neat, tidy and secure and I'm more than happy to do any odd jobs like water plants and collect the mail.

I'm currently working remotely while living in a motorhome with my partner James. James is a freelance Videographer (jameshustler.com) and we run a business together shooting for NZ tourism boards and businesses which takes us all over the country and abroad. James sometimes joins me on house sits and is a big dog lover. Our ability to work remotely means we will be at your home during the day to keep your pets company.

I love my lifestyle living on the road but deeply miss being surrounded by animals everyday so I jump at pet sitting opportunities to have some much needed animal time! Nothing makes me happier than exploring the local walking tracks with a dog or curling up on the couch with a cuddly cat.

We travel all over NZ so don't hesitate to send us a message if you think we may be the perfect fit. Our motorhome is 8.5m long (pictured) and ideally, we would ask to park it on the driveway. We look forward to hearing from you!

If Claire offers to look after your house and animals, snap her up! Right from her inital communication, I knew she was going to be great. Her caring and warm nature is so reassuring when you leave your house and animals in her hands. She loved them like we do. Her communication, photos and updates were awesome. I'm sure our dogs sulked when she left. I would recommend Claire every day of the week and would 150% use her again.

Claire and James were the most fantastic pet&house sitters we could ever have imagined! We were gone for 3 weeks and the Communication was great with updates on our dog. We came home to the most immaculate house and a happy calm dog! I think the dog might love them more than us! Highly recommend having Claire and James to look after your animals and home.

Claire is the best! She did an amazing job looking after Riley; our 2.5 year old golden retriever. She is really kind - she sent us lots of great photos of Riley while we were away. She took Riley to the beach - they had a great time! She even tidied up the house before we return - so very thoughtful!

Claire was fantastic. She was able to come at late notice and look after our house and pets for a long weekend. She took excellent care of our 3 goats, 4 chickens, 2 cats and 3 dogs (including our 11-week old puppy). The garden was well watered and the house was left immaculate. Claire is just the best house-sitter! She looked after our house and garden , 2 dogs and 2 cows whilst we were overseas for 7 weeks. She did a really great job looking after our animals and sent us regular updates whilst we were away. She looked after my plants and regularly mowed our lawn with our ride on mower .
