I have had many years house sitting and pet care..
I house sit/pet care because I love animals. They are happier at home and in their own wee beds.
I have a good knowledge of animal husbandry. I enjoy most breeds of dogs and love cats, I am happy with small lifestyle homelands. I am unable to walk large dogs on leads, but fine if they have their own space to chase a ball.
I enjoy relaxing with your fur kids in the evening,on my lap or close
I love taking photos of your pets and will email them to you.
I have a current police check cert and a number of endorsements on this site.
No lawn mowing. I am happy to water plants inside and out.
I am a non smoker. I will not sit in a house where there is an inside smoker.I am fussy when it comes to a clean tidy home.
I am fully vaccinated, I prefer to sit where the homeowners are also vaccinated

I enjoy exploring the surrounds, checking out the local produce and cafes.
I am loving my new found freedom.I do not leave your pets for long spells alone.
I can sit with your pets for a cuddle or just a smooch is fine, if they are up for a groom I will do that


I am looking forward to looking after your fur and feather family while you take a break.

Jan is amazing. Tilly is well looked after. She spoils her as if she is her own. Jan always leaves the house clean and tidy, sheets and towels are always washed. Highly recommend her.

This was our first time having a cat sitter, and we were extremely happy with Jan. We felt very comfortable with Jan from our first meeting. Our old cat was happy as he hardly looked up when we came home and didn’t tell us off like he usually does. The house was left clean and tidy. Will be very happy if Jan can do it again.

Jan was very pleasant and did her best at caring for our menagerie however we feel she was at times out of her depth with the small farm duties she'd committed to and is more suited to smaller domestic sits rather than lifestyle blocks with chickens, large lawns to be mown, tunnel house to water, etc.

I cant rhank Jan enough for the excellent care she took of Tilly. The house was immaculate and Tilly was a very happy wee dog when we got home. I recommend anyone to have Jan look after their house and pets.

Jan house sat our cat Maude and looked after our house and garden for two weeks over Christmas. Her communication was fantastic ( meeting us in person prior to the sit and keeping us updated via text). We would highly recommend Jan as a thoroughly reliable, thoughtful and trustworthy house sitter.
