I have lived with and loved pets for many years and I'm a tidy home keeper, including gardening. After months, spending long hours on farm work, my focus has shifted to a major, home based, IT project so I'm looking to maintain a quiet, healthy lifestyle. Hence there will be no smoking, drinking or partying. If necessary I can run my own dehumidifier to ensure certain health issues don't resurface.

Note that I have my own car and don't feel comfortable leaving it parked on the street over night. I mostly prefer sittings longer than 1 month, especially if it involves crossing the Cook Strait. For internet access, I have my own 4G phone, to use as a hotspot if necessary, via 2 Degrees.

I have great rental home references and a clean Department of Justice record so feel free to ask if you wish to check.

Simon was a pleasure to have come and housesit my home. Although I could not be there personally when Simon finished house sitting for me, I had a friend check the house and they mentioned everything was spotless. Jess my cat was very well looked after and the communication between Simon and I was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend Simon as a housesitter as my house and cat were extremely well cared for.

Excellent house sitting. The cats loved Simon, even with his unenviable job of removing the various corpses that one enthusiastic feline hunter left around the place. All was kept tidy and clean and I was able to enjoy my holiday knowing my cats and home were left in capable hands.

Simon came at short notice and took great care of our aged fox terrier, laying hens, cats, ducks and miniature pony. as well as watering & checking our substantial vegetable garden and tunnel house in mid summer. We were most grateful for his assistance in our time of need. We would reccommend Simon to other small farmers.

Simon took the reins and let me disappear for a fortnight with my two sons. First time I've had a holiday for over 15 years. Came home to newly hatched Aracauna chickens and our Large white sow had become a mum again. Home was just as we left it and am happy to recommend Simon as capable and honest. Living off grid can be a challenge at times but all went well. Cheers Simon
