Alexandra & Riley

Hey, we are Riley and Alyx!

We are a couple (both 25 and 26 years old) who met in Dunedin 5 years ago at university and are now young professionals who have spent the last few months travelling and exploring Europe. We have just returned to New Zealand to return to full time work. Alyx is working at Auckland city hospital as a registered anaesthetic technician and Riley works for himself at home as a graphic designer. This means he will be home to look after your pets daily, while keeping each of them company. He can give them the care they need, as well as Alyx when she gets home from work and on her days off.

We both love our exercise and go on regular daily walks and runs (Riley has experience being a dog walker in Dunedin) which is perfect for giving your pets the exercise they need. We are both animal loving people and have grown up with animals our whole life, including dogs, cats, sheep, cows, and horses, and valued them as an extension of our family. We cannot wait to adopt some dogs of our own when the time is right.

We have experience house sitting and living in other peoples homes from previously flatting, to now frequently using airbnb with highly recommended references and reviews.
Alyx has been living in the UK for the past year as a live in nanny, and enjoyed being part of the community in London which allowed her to meet so many amazing families and look after their children and pets.
We are mature, responsible and reliable people who always treat each property with the best intentions as if it were our own, keeping it clean and pristine. We are both non-smoking, trustworthy and respectful people and happy to provide character, employment and/or landlord references if needed. We are also happy to set up a facetime so we can meet each other and you can ask any questions you may have.
We would love to housesit your home as we believe we are the best candidates to love and care for your home and pets.
