We are a retired couple with excellent references and police clearances in both Australia and New Zealand.
We are very experienced in both house sitting oand farm sitting we have experience with all types of animals pets or any stock as I come off the land. I am also fully experienced with all types of earthmoving equipment.
Having owned our own shepherds we are experienced in most types of dogs. We travelled to the north island last year. We are both well travelled and both love dogs and cats. Can provide Excellent References both personal and professional. We have references from both Manly and Opunake from owners. Looking forward to sitting your house for you.

Micheal and Chris looked after our home and our dogs for 12 days. In the time we were away we had contact with them and felt reassured that everything was okay. How great to come home to a cooked meal and tidy home . Holidays are so much easier with great house sitters . Thank you for being here and we would love you to house sit when we get away again.
Michael and Christine were wonderfully sitters. They had to deal with lots of rain, so they mowed the lawns and washed the dog pretty much weekly. Christine even cooked us dinner on our return and if course the house was all nice and tidy and clean. We also let them use our small vehicle as they only had the large campervan, and they left the petrol tank full. after use. I hope to be able to use them again, if we can fit in with their busy schedule.
Michael and Chris took the very best care of our little pet trio (dog, cat, and cantankerous bird). The pets were all very happy and relaxed on our return. They had clearly enjoyed the company of Michael and Chris and were looking for them after they left. Michael was kind enough to drop us to a very early flight and picked us up on our return. Michael and Chris taken care of our house and animals for four weeks while we were overseas. We came back to tidy house, all animals were happy and well. We have also allowed the use of one of our cars and it was looked after well and was fuelled before returning, which we have appreciated. Generally our preference is not to allow car use, but we had to make that decision at a last minute as it was not raised initially.

Michael and Christine looked after our home for a month while we were travelling overseas in September/October 2019. We were mostly concerned about leaving our three pets: two cats and a dog, while we were away, but we need not have worried. Michael and Chris immediately became their best friends - and sent us regular photos to assure us of their continual well-being. Super housesitters. Returned home after three weeks to a clean dog and a clean house and car. Very easy to communicate with and easy going. Have no hesitation in recommending Chris and Michael to anyone. Would most definately have them house sit again (and again).
Michael & Chris came into our home after Christmas, and the ensuing chaos at having 19 people spend the weekend. We had to dash almost immediately for the airport, and left them with the detritus. Bless their hearts, we came back to fat and glossy horses and newly planted shrubs in the garden all alive and well despite 40° temperatures, The state of house we left them was returned sparkling house. Thank you Michael and Chris for taking such good care of our home and pets while we were away on holidays. Communication was fantastic- we had updates every couple of days as requested and the house was left very clean with clean towels and sheets on the bed. All we had to do was come home and fall into bed. We would highly recommend Michael and Chris for any house sitting roles, especially with high energy dogs.
Michael and Chris were fantastic house sitters. The house was spotless when got home, the garden well cared for, my precious bonsai healthy and well and of course our fur babies were in excellent shape. Thank you and hope we can do it all again, highly recommended as house sitters.

Michael and Chris were fantastic. They had everything thrown at them while staying at our house, (including hail that damaged the house, which they repaired), they also had a ceiling fan burn out which they sorted out.
