We are an active, retired, non smoking kiwi couple who enjoy house/pet sitting and exploring new areas. Our house and pet sitting experience has been in both urban and rural environments, on lifestyle blocks where we have looked after a range of domestic and farm animals. We are reliable and organised, will respect your privacy and take good care of your home and pets while you are away.

We live in North Canterbury and most recently before retiring lived with water access only in the Marlborough Sounds where we operated a B&B and ran a property maintenance/gardening business. Our experience of living and working remotely has made us very independent and resourceful!

We have also had recent experience of managing a BnB while the owner was called away. This involved staying on site, meet and greet, serving breakfast, processing payments and cleaning the rooms.

We love the outdoors, gardening, cycling, boating, fishing, music, reading and spending time with our friends, family and grandchildren.

No rating Nicki and Neal did a wonderful job of looking after our house and garden, but most importantly our labrador Meg. They walked Meg twice a day despite the often inclement weather (who ever called this the Winterless North I wonder) and played with her a lot. Meg obviously became very fond of them. On our arrival home we were greeted with tidy lawn and garden, and spotlessly clean house. I can highly recommend Nicki and Neal!

We can highly recommend Neal and Nicky. Absolutely amazing! Kept us informed when they could about our pets, which put us at ease. Kept our house and land perfect - infact I'm quite positive it was cleaner and tidier than how we left it! Left us and our kids a yummy treat with a lovely note. Would never hesitate to use them again! Thank you guys so much.

Neal and Nicki were amazing house sitters and we can't fault them in anyway. They made time to visit before the sit to look around and to get to know the animals. They are very capable, friendly and have excellent communication. They cared for my miniature pony and our 2 small dogs. Neal and Nicki were wonderful! We felt so comfortable going away and leaving our senior lads with them. Nicki and Neal house sat for us for 8 days. Their reviews were very positive and we had no hesitation in picking them to look after our house and wee dog. We found them to be not only lovely people but reliable, trustworthy and very clean and organized. When we come home the house was lovely and tidy the lawns had been done and the wee dog was happy. We highly recommend Nicki and Neal as house sitters.

Neal and Nicki did an excellent job of looking after my cats, chicken and house. My cats got the medication they need and were well looked after. Neal and Nicki were very considerate and very capable. Everything was left perfectly clean. I am grateful to have had them here.

Nicki and Neil were just the very best house sitters. They looked after our 2 Jack Russells fabulously well. They phoned the vet for advice at one point just to make sure they were doing the right thing with the dogs medication..
