Kia ora home and pet owners,

I'm a 35 year old kiwi female, working for the Department of Conservation in Christchurch. I moved to chch after 8 years away in London and Melbourne.

I've recently bought my first home (that came with a cat believe it or not), and have been busy the past few months doing renovations. Due to my change in circumstances, I no longer do as many housesits, but I am looking for an Easter 2024 break for myself and a few girlfriends (it will be my 36th birthday). We are all runners/hikers, so would love to stay in an area where a few trails are available (and take your dog with us if they love running too). If you are close to a main centre, we will probably go out to a restaurant for dinner, or maybe just stay home and play boardgames and watch movies depending on the mood.

I've owned dogs, cats, fish and birds previously. I will gladly take your dog with me on my morning runs if they like/need the exercise, or on day hikes in the surrounding area on the weekends. I also know how not to over-water (or under water) a houseplant.

Natalie is the most amazing sitter. We are absolutely thrilled to have met her. This young lady is quite frankly one of the most amazing, honest, and reliable sitter we have had. Natalie took care of our home and furbaby while we were away tramping. I was a bit nervous as this was our first sit, but upon return, I was relieved to find a happy dog and a clean house just the way we left it. I would happily choose to have Natalie back for another sit! The plants were cared for, the house was clean and our puppo was fully exercised.

Natalie has just finished a house sit for us. We returned to an immaculate house, linen all laundered and bed remade. Pets were well looked after and she waited until we returned before leaving. We would be happy to have Natalie house sit for us anytime.

Thanks Natalie for being so great to deal with before the sit and during our holiday. We came home to find the place clean and tidy and Natalie even washed and dried her bedding for us. Natalie sent us photos of herself with our pets after our 1st day away, which was lovely to get but she didn't bombard us either.
