Elsa & Miguel

Hello!! We are Miguel and Elsa, a 28 years old couple from Spain. We are both from a small town in the north of Spain where we were living and working untill January 2023 when we decided to start a new adventure and we moved to Denmark with our little dog, Lilo. Now, we feel that it is time to start again in a new place, the amazing New Zealand.

Miguel is a Mechanical Engineer, and in Spain he worked for two years and a half in the sheet metal manufacturing sector. However, he has also worked in hospitality field as a waiter and chef in Denmark. He loves sports, specially football, nature and animals, but he is also a very calm person, so he enjoys staying at home. He is extremely organized, responsable and cheerfull, he always has a smile for everyone. He had a dog sice he was a child, so he has always been in contact with animals.
I, Elsa, have studied Psychology in Spain but I have been working in hospitality the last few years. I love to sew, nature and animals, and I also have been in touch with animals because I had a cat and a dog since I was 8. I am responsable and caring so I enjoy spoiling animals and spending time with them.

Lilo is our rescue dog, and she has spent the last 6 years with us. At the beginning she was living with Elsa during university, but since we were in Denmark, we all have been living together. Unfortunatley, she can´t share this adventure with us.

As we said, Lilo is not coming this time, so we know how hard is to leave our pets, even when we know they are in the best hands. So, as we have found the best sitter for Lilo we would love to be the best sitter for other pets, taking care of them as we do with our.

In addition to our own pets, we've had the pleasure of looking after the dogs of several friends, ensuring they receive the same love and attention as our own and understanding the unique needs of different pets.

Now, we are excited to be part of Kiwi House Sitters community, so we can experience the amazing country of New Zealand as well as we stay connected with animals throw pet-sitting.
