I'm an experienced sitter. Let's say I'm that one person my friends and family go to when they need someone to look after all the important creatures and things in their lives while they're away o can't do it by themselves.
Home is a sacred place to me. I am aware of what it means to open the doors of your place to let a strager in and lovely trusting them with some of the things you care the most about in your life. I always try to enjoy my stay looking for respectful connection with the space and its surroundings with an open heart.
At the moment I'm open to house or pet sitting opportunities in the SOUTH ISLAND (Queenstown, Wanaka, Cromwell, etc.) closer to SPRING and SUMMER. Please contact me!
I'm kind of a hiperactive introvert who absolutely LOVES spending time outdoors enjoying what nature brings. I truly enjoy sharing and having great deals of fun with others, as well. I have a strong sense of interpersonal connection.
I consider myself responsible and decisive, I'm handy and I like keeping things and spaces clean and tidy in a respectful way. I don't smoke.

I have years of experience looking after not only flats and apartments, but also big houses with garden for time periods up to 3 months. Not to mention what a thrill it always brought me to know that I was going to be welcomed home with the company of cats and dogs.
Plants? Garden? Greenhouse? Compost? Well my friends call me ¨the plant lady¨ and I simply find plant nursery therapeutical ever since I was a little child and shared the love for them with my granpa Cizo in his enormous vegetable garden.

Anyway, coming back to the house and pet sitting topic, up until 2022 I was the official pet&house sitter for my beloved ones in my city and surroundings. In 2023 I started travelling for longer periods. I wasn't looking to sit but sitting came to me when I stayed at my friend Germán's cottage in Santa Isabel de La Pedrera, a wood close to the beach, taking care of his 3 cats. This happened while I was bycicle traveling through the Uruguayan coast and that was when I realized that I could keep pet&house sitting, even while moving and getting to know new places!

A little more about me and how I got to be where I am now, well.. .Coming from Patagonia in my beloved Argentina (YAY, Messi's country!) I've arrived to Aotearoa-New Zealand chasing adventures at the beginning of June and I'm already loving this country... guess why? So much to do, such friendly people, so many beautiful landscapes to be a part of and nature around the corner almost everywhere!!
What is it that I miss the most? Maybe Mate? Or Dulce de leche? Nope, it's 2 furry beauties. Let me introduce you to:
-Truffles, the highest of energy, pampering and caresses demanding puppy of all times, and
-Karma, the actual and indisputable queen of our home in Patagonia (relevant fact: because of being immunocompromised she takes oral medication on a daily basis)
But, Melisa... with whom are they now?!?! The best and sweetest of caregivers, my partner Mauro, we share an adventurous story (: We met in Buenos Aires in 2021 and moved to Patagonia in 2023 with Karma, Truffles happily came into our lives at the beginning of this year.
