Hello, I have been housesitting for over 6 yrs now and have been so fortunate to have stayed in many lovely homes in Bay of Plenty, Taupo & Auckland.

I'm from Christchurch, however I have been living in Tauranga the past 11 years or so. For the past year I have been house-sitting throughout the North Island, tho I am in Akl & Tauranga quite often.

The gorgeous pets I have cared for include cats, dogs, rabbits, fish, sheep, chickens, cows, and guinea pigs.

I do prefer to look after cats as I can go to work during the day (Please note: I do not work from home, I work as a temp) if you have a dog that can be left for the day that may work to?

I love meeting new pets and especially love to catch up with wee friends I have cared for in the past. I absolutely adore cats and dogs, and have met some very interesting characters along the way! and I look forward to meeting many more. I grew up with a Cat and dog, and just love their company and playing with them, and don't mind at all if they snuggle up in bed. I'm also happy to administer medication and flea treatments etc. and take your wee friend to the vet if required.

I can assure you that your house will be spotless on your return and I will treat it as if it were my own home, I'm quite the perfectionist. More than happy to water plants, garden etc. and really whatever else needs to be done, you only have to ask. I don't have green fingers therefore my gardening experience is very limited & sorry, I don't mow lawns 😊 I do bring my own food and other essential items for the duration of my stay. I can also provide my own sheets and towels should this be required.

Whilst your away I will keep in regular contact via text, Messenger or WhatsApp with a brief update and a photo or 2.

Where possible it's nice to meet with the homeowner and pet/s in person, or via Messenger, WhatsApp etc. prior to the house sit.

Rima looked after our home beautifully as well as keeping all my plants alive and was a very good carer for our elderly cat, Sooty. We had lots of posts of a happy cat and also our happy plants! We had great communication. Unfortunately, because of an accident, we were delayed by 9 days & Rima stayed on which was such a blessing. We would highly recommend Rima as a very reliable house sitter. We will certainly see if she is available when we need another sitter. Thank you so much, Rima.😊

Rima sat for me for nearly 3 months and when I arrived back home my little cat barely remembered me she had become besties with Rima who has obviously won her over completely! Was great to see she had settled so well with Rima! The house was lovely, clean and tidy. I hope if I ever need to travel overseas again Rima will be available! I was very nervous about the House Sitter process, but now I'm sold. Thank-you Rima - Cloud says smooch!

Rima is absolutely awesome. She is very calm, very communicative and my very nervous cat took to her immediately. Rima is a great house sitter and we have now had her to look after our high maintenance Burmese cats numerous times. Communication is fantastic with lots of updates and photos. The house is always spotless and sheets and towels washed. We love having Rima as a house sitter and will continue to request her for all our holidays. Chris

Rima house sat for us for 4 weeks. She was willing to meet me before hand so I could talk to her. Rima kept the house tidy and spotless. She looked after our 2 cats and 2 bunnies, she did a fabulous job taking care of our little ones. She would send photos of them every week with a quick update of how things were. I have no hesitation in recommending Rima for any house sitting roles.

No rating Rima came to look after my home and beloved pussycat for the month of June 2018. I cant speak of her highly enough and 100% recommend her to other home owners. My home was in an immaculate condition when I came home and my cat seemed to have decided Rima was better than me and ignored me preferring to cuddle Rima instead! So all in all it was an ideal situation and I would call Rima again in a heartbeat should I need to leave my home for an extended period.
