Hi, I'm an experienced, trust worthy pet/house sitter.
I have been pet/home sitting for 20+ years & still enjoy the experience of it all. 7 years thru agencies & prior to that for family, friends & personal referrals.
I am fully vaccinated & I'm a non smoker.
My 3 priorities when I am pet/home sitting are:
1st. The happiness & safety of your pets.
2nd. The care & security of your home.
3rd. The few things I may wish to do or see in the area.
The return sits I get are special, as the pets & I really get to know each other. I am recently retired.
I am experienced in caring for pets who need medical treatment or have specific food requirements. Also pets who have high anxiety & elderly pets.
I enjoy pet/house sitting & have many excellent references.

Prior to retiring, I owned my own business for 30+ years. My Clinic was in Lymphatic Drainage. For people after chemo &/or radiation treatment & mastectomies. I was part of a NZ Foreign Affairs team based in Peru for 2 years. 1981 & 1982
I see Pet/House sitting as a win-win opportunity. I enjoy caring for animals & I enjoy exploring new places & local communities throughout NZ. I also see pet/home sitting as something I can give to the community.
I have always tended my own pets & home with love & care & I will do the same for you.

We were so fortunate to have Ana as our Pet Sitter. She is every thing you could wish for. We came home to a perfectly clean and tidy house and more importantly a happy, healthy and contented Cat. She sent regular updates with photos which is so lovely when you are away missing your pet. I would have Ana to pet sit again in a heart beat.
Ana is the perfect sitter.. My two cats felt comfortable with her immediately (which isn't always the case).
She communicated well from the start and I did appreciate the daily updates with photos and messages confirming all was well. Would be very keen for Ana to house sit for us again.
Ana cared for my cats and my home as though they were her own.
She paid extra attention to Gordy who is quite vocal and loves attention.
When I returned home, the cats were calm and contented and the flat was spotless.
Ana took time out of her busy schedule to meet with me before and after the sit and texted me every day I was away to share updates on the cats and her time at the flat.

We love Ana! Lola loves Ana! Sooo lucky to have Ana looking after our precious Lola. We were rather anxious leaving Lola with a stranger but knew straight away what a gem Ana was. Ana is booked in for another week in Feb/Mar (4th Lola sit) and hopefully more before then. It was especially lovely to come home 2 weeks ago to a warm and lived in house. Ana is a very good housesitter. She took great care of my cats and kept me updated on how they were doing. The house was immaculate when I returned and the cats were very happy. I recommend Ana highly and would be happy to have her house sit again.
This was my first time having a pet sitter, which came with house sitting of course. I could not possibly be happier with Ana. It was very friendly from the earliest contact. Ana was respectful of my home and left it looking exactly, spookily, as I'd left it. Cleaned for her, cleaned for me.
Ana was great with Abbey, massaged her head and arthritic bits every day, gave the meds in food. I rather think Abbey misses her as I'm not massaging quite up to spec and she walks away!

Ana and Jim were fabulous. Our cats adored them both. We had great communication. We appreciated the photos showing us very happy cats and a few of their very funny moments. The place was well cared for and very clean when we came back. Such a treat. We felt very lucky having Ana and Jim look after the cats and our place. We would have them back again anytime. She was an excellent communicator from introduction to the finish of the dog sitting period.
Her calm gentle, but firm manner showed she has experience & a genuine love of dogs.
She was willing & flexible to fit in with Molly's routines.
Can't rate her highly enough.
We were delighted that Ana and Jim could look after Clyde. Clyde was a very lucky boy. We received regular updates on Whatsapp, so we could see how much fun he was having.
Ana and Jim were also very easy to talk with. They came to see us before we left, and we were able to pass on lots of information. Jim & Ana were wonderful house and cat sitters. They asked questions and really listened. We came home after 12 days to a very tidy house and a relaxed, happy cat! Ana was great about sending us updates and pictures of our boy cat almost daily. It was much appreciated.
They are a very friendly, capable couple. I look forward to having them sit again in the future!
We were extremely fortunate to have Ana and Jim take care of our home and two cats for three weeks, while we were overseas. It was a pleasure to meet such lovely people. We came back from our holiday to a completely tidy house with very contented pets. Jim had put his handyman skills to work and fixed an oven issue which we really appreciate. Ana and Jim sat for us for two weeks. They looked after everything wonderfully. Four horses and a dog. Hailed our dog was our main concern . As she ages she is becoming less secure and hates leaving home. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you both so much

Ana looked after my dog and cat for 3 weeks. JJ (my dog) adored her and both were very happy and content when we returned. The house was left very clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend!
We had the great experience of having Ana and Jim house sit for us over the Christmas and New Year period. The pets were well looked after with plenty of cuddles and time spent with them. Ana kept us up to date with lots of photos and short messages which kept us reassured that all was going well. The house was immaculate on our return with some of the pots cleaner than we had ever seen!! (Thank you Jim!) The garden was looked after as well. Ana & Jim cared excellently for our animals and our home. Our dog enjoyed the outings and walks and the cuddles, and our cats enjoyed their company. Our garden was cared for with hedges chopped, lawn mowed and garden kept tidy. We even found things around the house that needed attention before we left were unexpectedly fixed, which was a bonus. Jim even had my old classic car running for us. Excellent animal and home sitters who we highly recommend.
Make sure the garden and pot plants are thriving when you get back - get a house sitter.
