We are a couple who loved our years of working, now at this point we enjoy traveling in NZ since we are lockdowners and decided to stay in NZ. Our Visa to stay here is granted. Yes we are very experienced in meeting new people, all kinds of animals and different lifestyles. Our roots are from Switzerland and Germany. Nature is something we need to breath in and out, walking your dogs and spend the day outside is a perfect happy day for us. Especially we like quiet even remote rural places. Sometimes we also truly enjoy the vibe of a city. Our lifestyle is quite simple, but of course we love to celebrate life. Our focus is to keep our mind and soul in balance. If there is a possibility we spend time to practice yoga and meditation. We are non smokers, drug free, stress free and calm people. At this time of our life we will travel a lot and also for longer time. In Europe we have a Camper van, the small type. We are home owners of 2 big houses , one villa in Thailand Koh Samui on the beach and one house in Stuttgart Germany. We do rent apartments for long terms and in Koh Samui on the beach for schort holidays. Thru that we have plenty of experience to understand how to look after your house, property and animals as it would be our own, with a lot of love for the animals and your precious home. We are a great team since 24years living together and married. We have done over 32 housesit around the world. I did housesitting for 6 month in South-Africa, and the USA, and a wonderful old mill in rural France. In S.A. we did a long term housesit with 26 animals. A delightful one in England. At this time we are touring in Asia until mid of March Recently we just doing a housesit in Cape-Town with a Husky Malamute a great experience with this strong walking beauty. We where in Singapure with great Boo. We took care for a B&B in the Provence in France. Our 2019 travel with our camper van gave us the opportunity to house sit in France again and Portugal and Spain. At the end of the year we sit for 7 dogs, 3 cats and 2 parrots for 5 weeks in Ibiza. 2020 started in Australia with a amazing experience on a small farm with a horse, donkeys, chicken and 2 dogs and the one cat seriously believed she is a baby, and a lorikeet parrot. In Melbourne we are looking after 4 Dachhshund - 2 with inkontinent issues. There are so cute and loveable.
First and most we love all animals, except reptiles (Kurt) i have spend my childhood holidays on Swiss-farms and know how to understand animals in there on personality and different needs. It is a great happiness for us to be with your animals and serve them out of our heart. If there need any specific care this is not a problem for us, we had animals but not anymore they all went to the rainbow land. We will always carry them in our hearts so we decided to try house sittings and cuddle your beloved animals. In the meantime we done many housesits with all kinds of dogs and cats and not to forget our incredible experience in South Africa with 15 monkeys. The baby one was just born when we arrived at the private rescue farm for monkeys. The mother didn't have milk , and so it happens we got by surprise a small monkey boy in the house to hand feed and take care 24 hours. We truly loved this experience. At the same time we love adventures walks and exploring the new surroundings and meet new people. We our self also looking do buy a property somewhere in Europe maybe in France. In this way we can also explore the countrys and there lifestyle. Naturally we do know how imported it is, to feel good about the people who stay in your house and be sure you're animals been treated with tenderness and lots of cuddles. We do our best that you can leave with a great peace on your mind, that your beloved animals will have a wonderful holiday with us. We bring all our experience with from living in tropical jungle, living on a sailboat, small villages, big city's, rural , mountain and ,beach places. We are mostly at home in the evening to enjoy a peaceful time.

A & K are the best of the best! They are the most caring, loving, tidy, thoughtful and professional people you will ever meet.
We left them with a big house, farm animals and a very needy, anxious cat who rarely ventured outside. We were quite worried about him but quickly realised that there was absolutely no need for concern. Within a very short time they had him enjoying the outdoors again. As our first experience, we are so lucky to have Amrita and Kurt to be our house sitters. I had no idea about house sitters at all, so had many items want to make sure. Amrita replied me quickly every time with such patient. This gentle couple took care of my house as their own, everything was best when we came back, I thought the house was much cleaner than we left, let alone the handmade cake and fresh flower we received when we returned. Amrita and Kurt were the perfect house and dog sitters for our puppy Molly.
They were incredibly attentive to Molly's needs and thoroughly spoilt her while we were away.
Molly developed a sore leg the day before they arrived so we were a little concerned about her welfare. Amrita communicated with us regularly sending photos, texts and voice messages to reassure us that she was doing OK. This was very much appreciated.
On our return the house was in immaculate condition. It has been cleaned ... MOREAmrita and Kurt were the perfect house and dog sitters for our puppy Molly.

We were thrilled to have Amrita and Kurt housesit for us. They had great reviews and certainly lived up to their reputation. It was nice to be able to meet them before we left and we knew that our animals would be well cared for during our absence. Amrita kept in contact with us and sent us photos of the animals (and the snow!!) while we were away! They certainly went the extra mile which extended to giving our shy cat personalised room service meals! Upon our return we found the house to be ... Amrita and Kurt were amazing! They took such incredible care of our 3 dogs and loved them like they were their own. They went above and beyond with their care not only with the dogs but with our home as well. I can not say thank you enough for everything they did while I was away to take care of my Mum and not knowing when I would be back. Amrita and Kurt house sat for us in April 2021. They are a wonderful, caring couple that took great care of our dog Buddy, and our house. We liked them as soon as we met them! Buddy is a elderly Spaniel, almost 14, with recently diagnosed Cushings Disease. He needs a bit more care and attention, but this did not worry Amrita and Kurt at all. We had no hesitation leaving Buddy with them, and there were no problems while we were gone. On our return, I found fresh flowers from the garden ... MOREAmrita and Kurt house sat for us in April 2021. They are a wonderful, caring couple that took great care of our dog Buddy, and our house. We liked them as soon as we met them! Amrita and Kurt...simply the best! I can't recommend these lovely people highly enough. I came home to a very happy, relaxed dog who had obviously formed quite a bond with both Amrita and Kurt. My chickens were fine, the house was perfect, the garden had been attended to, and the lawns were freshly mown. I really couldn't have asked for anything more and have already booked them to return for almost a month. I feel completely relaxed and confident having Amrita and Kurt look after Sasha and the ... They took exceptional care of our six dogs and sent regular photos and updates of how they were while we were away - which made us feel very comfortable that they were in charge. They checked the horses and stock water regularly.
Our home was spotless when we arrived back - inside and out, and even a meal waiting for us when we returned. Our garden had been well looked after and ... MOREAmrita and Kurt are five star sitters!

Bonnie is generally a nervous dog and it takes some time for her to get used to new people but despite being a bit sceptical at the start it only took few minutes and she was curled upin Amrita's arms!
