We're a pleasant and reliable german couple in our mid 40s and self employed. We are pet loving, non-smoking vegetarians with years of experience with cats and dogs as well as the occasional farm animal.

As we live in a house of our own we are familiar with all duties around a property and at least one of us loves gardening :)

We travel New Zealand on a regular base for a few months each year (to avoid the German wintertime), made a lot of friends all over both Islands and found house sitting is our preferred way to get to know this wonderful country - places, people and all.

Please have a look at our reviews - and we are happy to provide contact details for referees on request (as we don't have everything on here) as well as a police certificate. We also have a personal liability insurance.

We were absolutely privileged to have Nancy & Florian house sit for us they took care of the daily running of our lifestyle block including our cows, chickens, veggie garden, pot plants and two dogs one being a 6 month old puppy so they certainly had their hands full. We had regular video clips & pictures of the dogs having fun or just simply relaxing, it made being away from home so much more comforting and took any glimpse of worry away knowing that everything was left in the very capable & ... We consider ourselves so lucky to have chosen Nancy and Florian as our sitters. They were so professional and friendly. They followed through on our requests and wishes to the last letter.... the dogs got decent walks twice daily and loved it; and tasks around the property were completed perfectly. We returned to a meticulously clean and tidy house - such a pleasure :-) Nancy and Florian are superb communicators too. Don't hesitate to engage them!

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nancy and Florian as housesitters! Wonderful communication and our wee staffy and 2 cats were fantastically well looked after. We even got beautiful photos of the pets whilst we were away. If you need a housesitter, and they are available, don't even hesitate! Nancy and Florian looked after our three show dogs (2 retired) - and our house and garden from 15th January 2017 until 1st March 2017. We have nothing but praise for them both. It was obvious the dogs loved them both. They had been so well cared for, they had been walked regularly, groomed and fed exactly to the book. No rating Nancy and Florian took great care of my home and more importantly my cat recently, over 4 weeks. It was wonderful to return home to a spotlessly clean home (I am sure it was cleaner on my return!) and tidy grass and garden. The cat was obviously well cared for and was lovely to receive photos of him posing in various states of happiness while I was overseas. No rating Nancy and Florian are very nice people and we left them our cat and our house with confidence. It was great to go to holidays serenely thanks to them. They took good care of the cat and the house, wich was cleaner when we get back than when we let them it ! No rating We had a great experience with Nancy & Florian house and dog sitting for the month we were in England. Both house and dogs are in a better shape - I think the dogs will pine for Nancy! Completely reliable, communicated with us so well with pics of happy dogs and went the extra mile to make our homecoming lovely. Totally recommend them to others.

No rating I had a great experience with these house sitters, punctual upon arrival, good contact before hand, and during their stay, reliable, conscientious and great with the animals. They took great care of the dogs, walked them every day and also great care of the house. I would have no hesitate in recommending them in the future ;o).

No rating Nancy and Florian looked after our place for 3 weeks while we were overseas. They took such good care of our pets that our dog actually sulked when they left! They also took fantastic care of our house - it was a great deal tidier and cleaner than when we left on holiday. Highly recommended.

We where very happy with Florian & Nancy as house sitters, happy animals and a spotless house to return to. They kept us up to date while we where away, great people to have looking after your home. We highly recommend them for any house sitting. Happy to speak to any one looking to have them house sit.

Nancy and Florian have got to be the world's best house sitters. Not only were they polite, honest, tidy and responsible - they are wonderful, caring, interesting, funny and warm people. They used their initiative, pampered the cat and dog, and even tried to sort Telecom out for us. Since looking after or place several years ago they are now firm friends. Wonderful, kind, intelligent and diligent.
