Having peace of mind when you are away and knowing without a doubt that all your fur babies and prized possessions are being well looked after is crucial to being able to completely relax and enjoy your holiday
I aim to provide the absolute best care for your animals no matter how big or small and give them the same love and attention I would my own
Your home will be kept spotless and made ready for your arrival.
Gardens and lawns will be tended to and mail collected and put in a safe place
I am often asked to give pets medication or look after their specific needs which is never a problem and I am quite experienced in giving injections as well
Traveling fulltime means I can no longer have animals of my own, borrowing yours is the next best thing.
I have been housesitting for 20+ years nationally & internationally and am grateful to continue being part of such a fantastic network.

A bit of background should you be interested:
Having grown up on a farm in Hawkes Bay it is second nature to be with animals . I have ridden and competed on horses half of my life and worked on our sheep stud and cattle farm
So as you can imagine I am happy with all breeds, shapes and sizes...
From there I began my humble beginnings as a multi-sporter and cyclist, competing for many years in events around the country and abroad
Today I do like to keep fit albeit at a more relaxed pace with walking and a gym session or two. I am not away from the house too long during the day and I'm always in for dinner and the evenings.

"Bridget is the most lovely person you could possibly wish to meet and to look after your home and precious 4 legged members of your family. Communication was excellent right from the start and it was so reassuring from our first chat that Bridget was going to be a brilliant housesitter and she certainly is! As soon as she came into the house the animal gang loved her and we're really calm and happy, so much so that they weren't at all bothered about us leaving. We got regular updates throughout the housesit and Bridget spent lots of time at home giving them company and cuddles. She coped brilliantly with our complicated regime of giving insulin to our diabetic cat and organising the different foods required for each pet. On our return the animals were so happy and content, it was obvious they'd had a wonderful time. The house was spotlessly clean and tidy. Feel very lucky if you get the chance to have Bridget as your housesitter, she's wonderful and we'd feel very fortunate to have her back in our home."

Our wee Patrick was very happy & the house was perfect.
Bridget was outstanding, after meeting her to start with, we knew she would fit our circumstances well, but she went over and above anything we expected. The house was left immaculate, we had great communication about "Jazz" during our holiday to put our minds at rest. Jazz is an oddball of a cat and takes a while to get to like people, but Bridget had him as her bestie on day one, we even had a video to prove it.

I have had Bridget come and care for my dog Rosie. They both have a real mutual affection for each other. Bridget walked Rosie heaps and took great care of her and my home. The house was immaculate when I returned from holiday. I would thoroughly recommend her for any house/pet sitting.
Bridget is blooming awesome if you are lucky enough to have her house sit for you :-D I forgot to leave the front garage key and then drove home a day early and she was still an absolute diamond. Same time next year??

Thank you once again Bridget for caring for Rosie and taking her for lots of walks,
This is the second time that Bridget looked after our dog and the chickens.
Bridget has always been very prompt replying to messages and has been extremely flexible regarding our plans going camping and inclement weather. In the end all plans eventuated :)
She has been a good communicator throughout the house sit.
When we returned the house was clean and tidy, dog and chickens happy.

Bridget left my home absolutely spotless. She is just wonderful to have looking after my home and my wee dog Rosie loves all the walks and cuddles.
Bridget took excellent care of our dog, cat and chooks. The dog was taken out on regular long walks up the Grampians which kept her happily occupied. The house was spotless on our return. Communication was excellent regarding exactly when Bridget would arrive and then depart at the end, and it was great that she made the effort to meet us before we left so that we felt very comfortable entrusting our fur babies to her care. Bridget was great to communicate with and popped round for a 'meet & greet' prior to us leaving which was very comforting. We had text/video updates on how things were going and Douglas clearly enjoyed his time with Bridget. We came home to a clean house and a very happy pup. Bridget has been a very 'professional' house-sitter in all respects. She showed great independence and professionalism in every aspect of the sit including cat-care, house-care and garden-care. Bridget was absolutely fabulous! She took wonderful care of our home, garden and two cats and sent regular videos and updates. The house was left spotless. We couldn't be happier and would be very happy to recommend her to use her services again.
Bridget was wonderful to deal with from the very first conversation.
She really got to know Monty's routine and I know they had an amazing time together, going by the photos, stories and by the time we got home Monty was more happy to see her than us lol.
Bridget also left the house super tidy. We would love to have her sit for us again and would highly recommend her too.
We felt very happy to leave Bridget in charge of the house while we were away camping. She has years of experience looking after peoples houses and pets. She is a very capable person.

Bridget looked after our house, garden and pets for three and a half weeks. She did a wonderful job and we came back to a very clean and tidy home, lawns mowed and garden looking fab. She had excellent communication and sent through updates while we were away which was nice. Thoroughly recommended.
We had Bridget care for our pets and stock on our lifestyle block at the begining of September. We have 2 cats,a dog, a pony, 6 sheep and 21 calves and 6 chickens. Bridget was a great housesitter. We worked off very short notice and she was more than happy to come and look after our property and pets. The house was cleaner than when we left it, even a cake baked for a Welcome Home present! We would happily use Bridget again or recommend her to others.
