Kia ora, my name is Diane.

Born and bred in the Wairarapa I grew up at Mt Bruce at the local schoolhouse with 3 siblings, 2 cats, many chooks and a flock of 26 sheep.

After a working life encompassing fashion, real estate, building industry and law, ten years ago I followed my passion and became a kindergarten teacher. I work part-time so will be around to keep your animals company and also do cleaning duties at local sports club so, rest assured, your house will be tidy upon your return.

My interests include squash, 10 pin bowling, reading and crossword puzzles. Two major accomplishments in my life are becoming a mother - my "baby" is now 24 and lives in Wellington - and sailing the South Pacific for a year on an 11 mt yacht, despite sea sickness!

After renting the same house in Lansdowne since 2007, it was time to move on when the owner sold. House sitting allows opportunity to save money while helping families to have a holiday of their own with peace of mind.

I'm honest, reliable and highly organised so your home and pets will be cared for with love and integrity.

Diane was really helpful and came over beforehand to meet all our pets and again to collect a key. We had a few parcels delivered whilst we were away, which Diane kindly brought in/dealt with. The house was left clean and tidy; Diane even put fresh sheets on the bed for us. Thank you!
