I am a caring, attentive person who is very respectful of other people, their pets and their property. I really enjoy getting to know the different personalities of the pets in my care - it's fascinating!
I am retired, so I can spend time with the pets I am looking after.

My background is in Learning & Development. I was an Guest Orientation Co-ordinator and Caretaker in a Buddhist environment for 10-11 years, till 2018, with a strong contemplative focus, and then I trained in Hospice & Hospital Chaplaincy.

I had a small Gardening Business in the very beautiful Southern Highlands region of NSW, Australia, (planting, weeding, pruning, lawns) before returning to NZ when the pandemic arose. My gardening client's descriptions - "enthusiastic, reliable, empathetic, trustworthy, creative, hardworking and GREAT company!"

Below is a reference for Melbourne housesitting - Frequently in 2019 Beth house-sat and cared for my two 9-year-old Spoodle dogs, for periods of 2 to 15 nights. She is a very kind, reliable and caring woman. She's very conscientious about walking and looking after my dogs. They love her! She cared for my houseplants, nursed my bamboo back to vibrant health and kept the house tidy and clean. I'd highly recommend her services.

Beth looked after our house and garden for three weeks during a hot dry summer. We met with her prior to our going away and felt confident in her ability to look after our property so we could enjoy our holiday without worry. Upon our return the house was immaculate, and the garden was flourishing. Beth is truly an inspired gardener, and we wouldn't hesitate to use her again.

Elizabeth was an excellent choice for our two cats as she was very calm, patient and loving. They were very content with her in the house. Also she is excellent in the garden and with house plants. I came back to find many of my indoor plants had huge growth spurts thanks to her care plus the vegetable plots were all thriving. Elizabeth is a wonderful house sitter. She is very pleasant and has a calm and relaxed manner. She immediately connected with Gypsy our dog (who normally doesn't like new people) and she was very happy to see her. Elizabeth was a pleasure to interact with from start to finish. She took great care of our home and pets and we went away on holiday feeling very reassured that everything would be well looked after. She was very patient with our slightly neurotic dog, communicated regularly while we were away, and took the initiative to deal with problems that came up in our absence. Elizabeth is a great house sitter, looked after our house and garden extremely well, even patched up parts of the lawn! House left in very clean and tidy condition. Elizabeth is a clear communicator, punctual for our briefing session, and when she had a problem with the washing machine, she dealt with that effectively. We have already booked Elizabeth for another house sit at our home in the new year and would recommend her to other people looking for a reliable house sitter.

Beth did an amazing job of looking after our house and our cat Stimpy. She was a pleasure to deal with before, during and after her stay and it was such a comfort to be able to go away knowing everything would be looked after. We came home to a beautifully clean and tidy house, and she also gave my house plants a much needed makeover! I can highly recommend Beth, and hope we will get the opportunity to have her housesit for us again in the future.

She is a very good communicator, keeping us up to date while we were away, and we returned to a spotless house and very happy cat. Beth is an experienced and intuitive organic gardener and all-round excellent house sitter. After 6 weeks we returned to a garden that was thriving, tomatoes ripening and a sparkling house. She had thoughtfully placed flowers in the house and some surprises growing in the veggie patch. Beth's communication was clear and timely. We appreciated the care and thoughtfulness that Beth put into this housesit. We hope to have her stay again.
