Vet Nurse/Curator/Pet Photography/Photo Restorer
Hi,
I am approaching my 70th housesit with Kiwi Housesitters- it is a lifestyle that I enjoy and I am committed to providing the highest level of care to pets and property alike. I have been housesitting for friends and strangers since the late 1980s. My housesitting travels takes me the length of New Zealand. I am not looking for partially funded holiday accommodation, housesitting is my lifestyle and I bring with me qualifications and experience to each sit. I believe that a homeowner needs the reassurance of this type of background to feel full confidence when inviting a stranger into a position of responsibility and trust in their home.
As a registered nurse who has worked in the veterinary sector, I hold qualifications that mean I am able to work comfortably across a number of housesitting environments.
I have also worked as a museum curator, a position demanding a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity. I have several excellent, verifiable references. In addition to the references, I hold a Police Clearance do not smoke. Further, I have worked for in the security industry and am extremely conscious of the importance of locking doors, checking windows and, where appropriate, setting alarms.
Please contact me directly if you would like to discuss the possibility of me housesitting for you. If you wish, I can supply a contract which sets out a useful frame for explicitly setting out what services you want me to provide as your housesitter.
In addition to performing the custodial and pet care duties normally provided in a housesit I also do pet photography and would be delighted to supply you with affordable permanent images of your animals.
Kind regards,
Jane Ferrier
