I love all animals but especially cats, and consider myself very conscientious of their needs and behaviours. I believe they need someone who wants to play with them and keep them company and not just be there to feed them.
I love to send photos and videos to owners while they're away, so they're not missing their kitties too much and to show how happy the pets are. I've experienced all kinds of cat personalities, from young, old, very playful, aloof, fussy eaters, to rescue cats who are very shy. Many people comment on how relaxed and calm their cats are after I've looked after them.
Cats can get stressed when put into catteries and are happier and anxiety-free when kept at home and have a loving, friendly companion keeping them company. You can rest assure that I will be that companion. I'll also take good care of the house and plants for your added security and am very respectful of the property.
I have many references and reviews who will vouch for my house/catsitting that I've gained over 5 years.

I will catsit/housesit in the Porirua-Lower Hutt-Wellington suburbs district. Please let me know your suburb.
I generally don't take bookings further than 2 months out for new catsits, only if you've used me before.
Please give four weeks notice if you decide to cancel.
Please upload photos of your house within the message. (And preferably your lovely cats too!). Photos help the sitter decide if a catsit will be suitable and a good match.

Kristi took care of our two cats for four weeks. Right from the start, she was considerate and patient with our cats, who are shy around new people. Kristi showed a genuine interest in the cats and obviously had experience in cat/house sitting, so we knew they would be left in safe hands. We especially appreciated the weekly photos and videos. We would definitely recommend Kristi's services and would be really happy for her to take care of Snickers and Molly for us again.

Kristi cared for and looked after Mae as if she was her own, including cleaning Mae up!!

Kristi did a fantastic job of looking after our 12 year old cat Cleo for almost two weeks. We were quite worried about leaving Cleo as she can be nervous around people she doesn't know, however Kristi came and met her twice beforehand and quickly won Cleo over as soon as she arrived. She took the time to play with her and we appreciated the regular updates and photos. We arrived home to a happy cat and a clean and tidy house. Kristi was absolutely amazing!! My kitten (Mae) was very well cared for. I think even slightly miffed I was back!
Kristi was great at keeping in touch throughout the weekend and sent lots of pics through.

Kristi is the perfect house sitter. Our cat Arlie and our home were very well cared for. Over the month Kristi was in our home we received many videos and photos. Kristi spent time playing with Arlie and we could see he was being well looked after. Communicating with Kristi was very easy and we highly recommend her for future housesits.
