Denis & Karen

Hello. We are Denis and Karen, new to the site, We have been home and pet sitting for the past few years and have loved every unique opportunity. We have a lot of respect for animals; nature and life in general. We endeavour to take care of your home and your animals as if our own. House and pet sitting is to us an ideal mix of trust, service and reciprocation with hopfully lots of cuddles in between. We are hoping to be travelling around New Zealand during November to February 2025. We have friends to visit in both the north and south islands, but we would like to make some new friends along the way!

We love travelling and love animals which is how we arrived to be sitters. Our personal combined pet family has included dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, hens, ducks, cows, rabbits, terrapins bees and fish. We have looked after homes and pets in Greece, Italy, Portugal, Spain and Lapland and the Azores as well as France and the UK.

Denis has over 20 years experience of working in green spaces, surveillance of secondary residences, garden design and maintenance and care and maintenance of swimming pools. Karen is retired and is enjoying the freedom to pursue new projects.

Because we are new to Kiwi House Sitters, our references have to be provided separately for the moment [from 2 other sites we our members of] and private sits we have done.
