Hi, l'm Gwenda ,
l am originally from the Waikato , but have been house sitting round Silverdale/Owera Area, As some of my family live there.
I gave up work 7 years ago ( Waikato) to look after my father, then eventually he moved to Albany( the reason for myself moving up this way) but sadly he is no longer with us.
So am now house sitting all over our lovely country NZ.
Started house sitting middle of last year and am loving it, the animals, staying in beautiful homes & meeting lovely owners.
I am not married, and have no children, l have been brought up on a dairy farm & still have 5 acres which is leased out and l rode horses til my 30's , so have been round animals all my life, my last cat lived to a good age of 20,
My hobbies & activities include playing golf, going on lots of walks, and eating good food! And do a wee bit of art work at times,I am a chatty person, but love the quiet life..
So am very happy to look after your lovely pets,to give them the love and care they deserve ☺️

Gwenda looked after our house and 2 pets (cat and dog) whilst we were away overseas for 12 days. From the first meeting we felt at ease with Gwenda looking after our house and pets. Gwenda is friendly and trustworthy and provided us with updates and photos on WhatsApp while we were away. We returned to two happy pets and a house that was kept in great condition. We would definitely recommend Gwenda to anyone looking for a house sitter and will use her again in the future.

Gwenda was a superstar! Great communication and very easy to deal with. My cats were in very good hands! Aubrey is a very timid cat but under Gwenda’s care, he was very relaxed and even came in for cuddles and slept on the bed with her and Archie! Gwenda was flexible enough to extend her stay to accommodate my extended travel plans. The place was left spotlessly clean and tidy. Highly recommend Gwenda! 😊

In all respects, Gwenda was the ultimate house sitter. While being overseas for 8 weeks, we were confident that our property and animals where being well looked after. We came home to a clean and tidy house and a very happy cat. Gwenda had checked on the elderly sheep daily to ensure none were caste . We have no hesitation in recommending her as a house sitter and if we travel overseas next year, she will be our first contact to check on her availability.
