We are a fit healthy retired couple aged 76 & 74. We live in a retirement village where we are active in the activities and I am Treasurer of the Owners Committee. We have been farmers in our younger days so are well used to looking after animals. We have housesat about 20 times in the last 6 years both here and in Australia. We have sat for periods of anything from 5days to 6 weeksand have references from most of the Australian ones and several from the NZ ones. We have also housesat for relatives so of course do not have refdrences from these. All our housesit's have asked us if we would sit for them again at any time which we have sometimes done especially in NZ. We love to experience different areas and love to travel. Justice Dept checks are also available.

I highly recommend Glenys and Ronald. They arrived the day before I left so they could meet the cats and learn what needed to be done which is always a good idea. The house was spotless when I returned and my bed had been made up with fresh sheets and milk in the fridge for my morning coffee. Both much appreciated as I got home late. We feel very fortunate to have had Glenys and Ron to look after our house, garden and cat. Contact with them before and during the sit was prompt, friendly and helpful. As they stayed the night before the sit began, we were able to get to know them a little and 'show them the ropes' in a relaxed way. On our return from being away we found the house was spotless, the garden well watered and our cat looking well-fed and relaxed. Thank you very much for your good care Glenys and Ron

Thanks Glenys and Ron for looking after our two girls again. This is the second time we have had them come to care for the house and our miniature schnauzers. The girls enjoyed having them so much we have a sneaking suspicion they were sad to see us home again! Ron and Glenys take care of everything marvellously and are a pleasure to have stay.
