We are two single friends (not a couple) who have similar interests and have been sharing a house for a number of years.
We are both very practical, reliable and trustworthy and very respectful of the house owners private space. Both of us are very clean and tidy and like to keep the home clean and orderly. Being very quiet people, parties are not a way of life for us as neither of us smoke or drink and we very much prefer quiet surroundings to noise.
We have no problems with looking after animals as we are both animal lovers and have owned a variety of pets in the past. We are keen walkers so exercising the doggies would not be a problem nor would pottering in the garden be a chore.
We have great references available and we would be more that happy to video messenger or pop in and meet you if we are in or around your area as sometimes it can make a big difference if you can see the person you are communicating with..can make you feel a wee bit more secure about who you are leaving in your house.
We very much look forward to meeting you.

No rating Nicky & Janece were house sitters for us for 6 weeks in 2017. More importantly they were best friends to our 11 year old dog Frank who required companionship, walks and grooming. As soon as we met these lovely ladies we knew our home and dog would be in good hands. They are warm, attentive and careful. Communication before and during our trip was excellent. Nicky and Janece were awesome sitters who made the whole process really easy and we were very happy to leave our dogs and home in their care. We also received updates along the way to let us know what was going on with the dogs which was reassuring. We would highly recommend Nicky and Janece, our pets and home were very well looked after. This was my first time using Kiwi House sitters. I have to say I hit the jackpot with these two amazing ladies. Nicky and Janece were fabulous. I felt at ease leaving my sweet girl with them for 3 weeks. I was sent up dates and my girl had an amazing experience with them and was loved. (I don't believe I was missed). Nicky and Janese were brilliant. We came home from a three week holiday in Oz to a spotless house and yard, well watered glasshouse and very happy, healthy dog. Over and above - Nicky and Janese had gone the extra mile and mown the lawns, which was not in the brief. And stayed an extra night to keep our dog company at short notice when Air NZ changed our flight. We highly recommend these two lovely ladies and are so pleased we found them on kiwi housesitters NZ. Oh Thank you Janet and Colin...we both adored Daisy..she is such a wee sweetheart and we loved where your home was situated..gorgeous Native bush with abundant Native birds and we just loved your delightful home. Thank you so much for giving us this great opportunity we truely loved it.
The house was actually from 26 October to 28 November but can't seem to change the dates above. I can't recommend them highly enough. Nicky and Janece were wonderfully kind to my dog and she was sorry to see them go. All my neighbors meet them and spoke highly of them. I would have them back in a flash and wish them all the best.

One word to describe these lovely ladies...WOW! We couldn't have asked for better house sitters (and now friends) to look after our furry babies (including 10 sheep and a 19 year old cat). Our house was immaculate upon our arrival home and our animals were well loved and calm. . The communication while we were away was great and they had to endure loads of rain and numerous power outages. I cannot recommend these ladies highly enough.

Nicky was an exemplary house sitter. Communication before and during the sit was excellent even given the difficulty of our site for mobile and internet reception! Our two dogs were beautifully cared for, walked daily and treated like the members of the family that they are. We arrived home to a wonderfully clean and tidy home. We highly recommend Nicky to others and would love to have Nicky back in the future if she is available.

I would just love to say what a fantastic first experience I had with Nicky and Janece. The fur babies did not appear to miss me at all haha and had a great time. To anyone who's looking for a great team to look after your house and/or fur babies then Nicky and Janece are the best. Cheers Tracey
