We are a German/New Zealand couple currently located in Christchurch but about to travel north from February.
We are open minded Individuals who enjoy exploring new as well as familiar places and be of service to others as we go.
As we adore all things feathered and furry, house and pet sitting is a fantastic opportunity for us to do what we love.
Availability:
We currently have housesits confirmed until the end of February. We will be on the North Island during March and possibly for a wee while after. But also available to migrate south again come April.

Experience:
We are fairly new to the house/pet sitting business (< 1 year) but we really enjoyed the experiences so far and are keen to continue with this fulfilling way of living and traveling for a while until we found our own patch to look after.
Both of us have grown up with cats and lived with pets most of our lives. Lorna has cared for the dogs, cats and chickens of many of her house mates over the years and as an ornithologist also has experience in bird care. She also has experience with caring for horses from time spent in stables around friend's horses and a year of riding lessons in early adulthood. Cameron is a natural cat and dog whisperer. The furry critters seem to flock to him and he loves and cares for them as if they were his own.
We also enjoy gardening and are generally handy around the house and not shy to help out with other jobs if needed.
What else do we love:
Apart from being with animals and building gardens, Cameron's favourite thing is making music, creating beautiful soundscapes for everyone to enjoy.
Lorna lives and studies the ayurvedic way of life and loves cooking and sharing nourishing and healthy meals.
We both love to connect with nature and spirit and caring for our environment.
We are curious and enthusiastic explorers of life, eager to learn and experience new things.
We are looking forward to connecting with you and learn more about how we can be the best fit for you and your pet.
Lorna and Cameron are my first ever house sitters. They are the loveliest genuine people who are kind and caring. The horses and dogs were loved and looked after - Lorna kept me updated with daily photos and pet antics. I'd definitely recommend Lorna and Cameron to anyone who wants awesome house sitters.
Lorna & Cameron were lovely people that we were more than happy to leave our pets, chickens and house with! They knew about off grid living and were happy in our distant locale with two little dogs who require quite a bit of attention! Thank you so much for making us feel ok about leaving our life for a week and having you take over! Amy
Lorna and Cameron were wonderful house sitters. They did a fantastic job of watching over my two Huskies, keep the house clean and tidy, and sent me emails every few days to let me know how things were going. They gave my dogs extra walks and now that I am home, they expect extra walks! I highly recommend them and have asked them to considered coming back later in the year. Many thanks!
Cam and Lorna were decent happy and kind people I left my beautiful boy cat with them and felt so happy as I drove off, he took to them straight away, They were awesome and I would thoroughly recommend them, I did ask if they could come back for 2 weeks in August but they were already committed. Thanks to them my boy was very spoilt happy cat and they kept me up to date with pictures. Thanks Cam and Lorna I would have you back any day.

Lorna and Cam are lovely people who made us feel really comfortable about leaving our house and pets in their hands 😄 They communicated regularly (sending photos and updates) and asked questions if they were unsure about anything. Very easy-going, left the house just as they found it and gave our doggos so much love and attention ❤️ Highly recommend!
Lorna and Cameron were wonderful. I felt very confident that our fur babies were well looked after while we were away. And even a little envious of all the cuddles our little Fuzz was giving out to strangers!
Communication was fantastic and we received updates, photos and videos regularly.
Was lovely to come home to a clean home with the sheets already on the line!
I wouldn't hesitate to ask Lorna and Cameron to house sit for us again.
Lorna and Cam were fantastic sitters. They were communicable, friendly, reliable and took fantastic care of our dog and chickens/ducks. The house was very tidy when we returned. Our dog was looking very healthy and seemed to have benefitted from excellent training whilst we were away. L&C encountered several issues during their stay but remained calm and dealt with the issues without concern. I would definitely recommend them to others and we hope to use them again.
Lorna and Cam did an excellent job of house sitting and looking after our precious 7 year old Foxy x Lab Kali. They took her out on plenty of adventures and could tell that she was in good hands with plenty of attention, love and care.
The house was really clean and tidy to come home to, communication was excellent and a really friendly, easy couple to deal with.
I would recommend them for future house and pet sitting and wish them well.
