Hi,

We are a reliable and friendly family who housesit around NZ. We have house-sat on and off in Australia and NZ and did a stint for 2.5 years to assist us with buying our first home. We achieved that goal pre-covid. We now have two kids and continue to use house-sitting as an opportunity for a change in scene and to show our children NZ through a local lens. We also love our kids meeting new furry friends and experiencing the joy that pets bring to a home.

A bit about us: we are a family of four. Jules is a HR professional, Ben is a Teacher, Nikau is 3 and loves lions and Zoe is 1 and loves books.

We have house sitting experience from Australia and New Zealand; gaining experience with both cats, dogs and birds. A testimonial from another housesitting site we were on:
" So....these guys were pleasant, mature and reliable from the get-go. [but also super-LIKABLE] They stayed in touch whilst we were away, as per my request. We arrived back today, and the house has never EVER looked better -beautifully clean and ordered and fragrant. Our parrots looked happy and well-feathered. They bought us milk and bread."

Ben and Jules are wonderful housesitters, so easy to deal with, easy to relate to, personable and trustworthy. Because of how well they took care of things back home I managed to sort things out when my trip had a bit of a hiccup and best of all, I came home to a very happy cat. He can be a nervous guy at times but he was absolutely fine, cuddly and happy as always. I wish Ben and Jules the very best, and am pleased to give my unreserved endorsement, cheers. :-)

We couldn't have asked for better house sitters to look after our two fur babies during our holiday. House was immaculate upon our return and our dogs were obviously well looked after during our absence. Even received positive feedback regarding the dogs from the locals who are familiar on our regular walking route. We both wish them all the best with the purchase of their new home :-)

Jules & Ben looked after our house and our two border collies, Blue & Oscar, for just over a month. The boys were well looked after, with lots of exercise and cuddles! We got lots of photos whilst we were away which made us smile. Jules & Ben sorted out little glitches for us with no issues (eg running out of gas unexpectedly). No rating I was very lucky to have Ben and Jules look after my two big dogs for approximately 3 weeks. I was a little dubious about having strangers looking after my dogs in my home but when I first meet Ben and Jules I was no longer worried as they are a lovely couple. No rating Jules and Ben were exemplary house and pet sitters. Our place was spotless, there were no problems and our pets were very well cared for. I really appreciated Ben and Jules coming over a couple of times to meet our dog and cat and go through routines etc.. Ben also was very kind and stayed an extra night so there would be cross over in us getting home from an overseas trip. Would highly recommend them - both great responsible and friendly people!
