We are a very happy couple and have house sat and looked after owners much loved pets like they are our own in Europe and New Zealand, this is a lifestyle choice for us, it brings variety and we get to meet so many wonderful people.
We have engaged house sitters ourselves, have rental property and volunteered through out Europe living with families in exchange for a few hours a day work - a wonderful way to immerse ourselves into another culture - our life really is an adventure.
Jacqui is a Travel Broker & works from home so this provides wonderful company for your pets as they are not left alone very often - only when we are out for that bike ride. Rod is a excellent builder and has had a Stud cattle farm for a number of years, loves to garden especially growing vegetables and we are both healthy, fit & non smokers.
Not only can we look after your home and beloved furry family members, we can redecorate a room, build a deck, spring clean or complete household maintenance while you are away. Rod is an award winning New Zealand builder who is very creative. Jacqui is a dab hand with a paintbrush. Don't hesitate to discuss your thoughts or ideas.

Rod and Jacqui looked after our house for 3 weeks and they did an exceptional job, I can't fault anything. They were really communicative, clearly adored our dog, and left the place spotless and organised for when we returned home. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, they were so professional and friendly. It was lovely to meet them and I hope we are lucky enough to book them again next time we are away!

Rod and Jacqui are fantastic sitters and took exceptional care of our dog Whina. Long walks, doggy play times and even rides in the car to their home. We highly recommend Rod and Jacqui as sitters and look forward to having them look after Whina in the future.
Jacqui arrived on the morning of our departure, instantly we felt relaxed and knew Miley was in perfect hands, it's so lovely to see a new bond between house sitter and our pet.
We arrived home to a lovely tidy home and a very happy dog.

Rod and Jacqui looked after our house and pets ( one dog and three cats of varying needs), for 3 months from April through to July 2019. Communication was great throughout and we felt 100% happy going away for that length of time and leaving our pets in their care. They were amazing house sitters. Rod & Jacqui were perfect sitters. Our cats were so well looked after and throughly spoilt (in the nicest possible way!) Jacqui sent regular updates which was great. I can recommend them without any hesitation and do hope that one day they will sit for us again.

Rod and Jacqui are a lovely couple who did an amazing job of looking after our home, and most importantly our wee dog.. They updated us regularly on Casper's excursions and activities and kept him beautifully bathed and groomed. Thanks guys for being such great house / pet sitters, hope to see you again soon.

Rod and Jacqui are exceptional housesitters. We were away a month and they kept in touch and looked after our dog, cats, budgies and chickens. The dog was walked daily and the house and section were left immaculate and they even left food in the fridge so we weren't racing off to the supermarket. They are very professional in their approach and i can't recommend them highly enough.
I couldn't have asked for a nicer couple to stay in my house. Great people. Extremely accommodating given that I got the arrival day wrong!!!! Honestly cant recommend them highly enough. Great Kiwi's.
We've been lucky to have Jacqui and Rod look after our place for three weeks. They are a fabulous pair of competent house sitters and are delightful to deal with all the way through. We left them with a couple of acres of gardens, trees, lawn and a whole menagerie to manage. They took great care of a crazy dog, three cats all with individual needs, chooks, pigs, sheep, ducks... and they did a fantastic job. If you could design your ideal house sitters, they would be it:-).
