Hi, we are a Kiwi couple living in the Wellington region. Doug grew up on a dairy farm in the Waikato and has his own offshore Agricultural Consulting business. Kalinda is self-employed, providing Training and Critical Incident Support to health workers.

We are tidy, professional, non-smoking and experienced house sitters and pet sitters. While living overseas, we became the ex-pat "go-to people" with extensive experience looking after cats, cows, chickens and dogs of all sizes and ages, from Chihuahua Pugs to Tibetan Mountain Dogs. We would love to take care of your home and pets and have verified NZ references.

No rating Doug, Kalinda and their girls ranked up there with the best house-sitters that we've ever had, impressing us across the board. Our many animals/pets were supremely cared for, as was our home, garden and grounds which were all left immaculate. Their common-sense/pragmatic approach, and attention to detail, meant that everything was looked after very well in our 3 week absence. We have no hesitation in recommending this family to others, and hope to welcome them back to our property again soon!

House sitter review: Doug and Kalinda housesat for 3 weeks on our farm. They were very respectful of our wishes and treated our house the way we asked them to. Our farm house has a few usual things about it but was not a problem for them. The pet calves and chooks were well fed, the house was tidy and clean, and cats well cared for upon our arrival home. We would recommend Doug and Kalinda to anyone, especially if you have pets.
