Hi, we are Maria and Michael, a married couple from England travelling around New Zealand! We arrived in June and have continued our house sitting 'job' while we explore this amazing country.
We have been housesitting in England since January 2024 and have loved our time meeting new people and caring for their pets. We have the ability to work from home while in New Zealand, so we can be there for your animals and give them the care that they need.
We have experience working with cats, small-large dogs, and have also administered pill-formed medication to older dogs. We now also have experience working with chickens, cows and sheep, having looked after a 'lifestyle' farm for 10 days in Oruanui.

We just loved Maria and Michael. Great people, the animals loved them. They sent photos etc and kept in touch to let us know all was well. House was clean and tidy on our return. Would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.
We were so lucky to find Michael and Maria. Such friendly, caring people who took such great care of both our pets. Would have them stay again anytime. Awesome communication and super flexible to work on with our departure and arrival times. 😁
Michael and Maria were awesome. They gave us regular updates and photos of our fur babies and made us feel at ease. They looked after our house and left it in a very tidy state. Would highly recommend them and definitely have them back :)

Maria & Michael are a lovely couple, who were fantastic house sitters and our dog clearly adored them, as he sulked for a couple of hours when they left! They sent regular pictures and updates while we were away and our house was clean and tidy on our return. I would thoroughly recommend them and would welcome them back anytime.
Pets and house were well looked after. We would recommend Maria-Theresa and Michael.

Marie and Michael are a lovely couple who went beyond everything we could hope for from a pet sitter.
Their communication before and during the sit was excellent, letting us know how Tia was getting on at all times. We felt comfortable leaving them in charge and Tia was very happy and content on our return.
With a house sitter looking after your pets, house and garden - you can really relax. Happy days.
