Hi there!!

I am a professional worker in the Search and Rescue sector, single/male and just back in the area after 5 years travelling the country with previous employment.

I am looking forward to returning to Auckland and found that housesitting worked for me for the 5 years previously I was based here.

I take a great deal of care and pride to ensure the property and pets I am entrusted with is cared for and looked after to the best of my ability. I do not mind a bit of additional effort to keep this clean/tidy.

My 12 hour shift work may not be ideal for some pets though, it is a 4 days on/4 days off roster.

My honesty and integrity are forefront of my daily routines, I get on well with all and have a genuine positive approach towards life.

If selected I will respect your wishes regarding use of property and care for your beloved pets, I will arrive and depart at the times agreed to, undertake any other roes as agreed upon, and I will ensure that you come back to a clean and welcoming home.

I love to travel and wish to experience the freedom and variety that housesitting offers.

I grew up learning to respect and care for one's property and look after all those under the roof - pets included. I have looked after properties for friends, family and work associates over the years and cared for their pets, property and gardens.

No rating Very happy with Johnny looking after our house and cats. Only a 5-day weekend, but we felt very comfortable leaving him in charge. Cats seemed happy when we got home, and the house looked very clean and tidy. Met Johnny beforehand and he came over as a very nice young man. Would be happy to use him again.

Johnny met me and my dog Charlie beforehand and I was very confident that they were a good fit. Communication was great while I was away, and I returned to a well cared for dog and a clean and tidy home. Johnny comes highly recommended from me!

Johnny and his lovely Godmother Jenny would always be welcome in our house. They looked after our very social cats, chickens and kept garden watered. We also received great communication daily and with our very shy cat missing for 3 days once we got home Johnny messaged us to check in, so very caring!

Johnny has been my best sitter so far. I loved how he kept in touch nearly every day, keeping me informed of how the cats are doing & especially with our shy cat. Johnny looked after our house and 2 cats over Christmas and New year. We can't recommend Johnny enough. His communication was great, the house looked spotless and he even mowed our lawn twice. Our cats are very cautious and Johnny took time to care for them and sent regular updates. We felt very comfortable as soon as we met Johnny. Can't recommend enough. Thanks Johnny.

Johnny did an amazing job looking after our dog while we were away for the long weekend. He really went over and above when our return flight was delayed. He went back to our place to feed our dog and hang out with him for a few more hours until we got home. Our house was spotless on return too.
