A quiet-loving, considerate and careful full time house sitter (non-smoker). I have over 20 years of private housesitting experience - initially in school holidays for teaching colleagues or their families, and for the last 5 years including very successful kiwihousesits since joining in September 2013. My housesitting CV is attached.
I am an animal lover; but as I often travel as free lance actor/singer owning a dog or cat would be unfair. House sitting provides me with a way to undertake acting and singing work where it fits in with the house sitting requirements, but also means I have a wonderful, and growing "family" of friends - human and furry to add to my own children and grand children.
Thanks again Chris was so nice being able to relax knowing our home and farm were in good hands. Got home to a clean home and happy animals. Had a few unplanned farm related issues which Chris happily fixed for us. Would have Chris back anytime.

Chris was lovely to deal with in the communication. He came by to visit our place before we confirm the sit. He is very experienced and our pets were all well taken care. We had a great experience with Chris who as our 1st house/dog sitter, booking for a weekend. He was great to communicate with leading up to the date and let us know his arrival time on the day. Chris also let us know how Digby was doing each day and Digby seemed happy and relaxed when we got home. Chris had vacuumed and hung out the washing, which was much appreciated. Chris did a great job looking after our property and our GSP, Cooper. I liked that he treated the pet care as a top priority with the house sit and built a great relationship with our boy, devoting plenty of time for exercise and companionship.

We had Chris house and petsit for us. We have 2 dogs with special requirements and a cat - so not any easy task! - but Chris did an excellent job. The pets were well cared for and the house was just as we had left it.

Couldn't say enough good things about Chris.
We came home to an immaculate house, wouldn't even know he'd been there. We had a couple of rogue goats that Chris fenced back in, and the odd awol sheep, that Chris sorted without issue. We'd happily have him back anytime!
This was the First time we have ever used a House sitter, and were a little apprehensive trusting a stranger with our Home and furry children, but we found the perfect match in Chris.
Chris came to meet us, and our Dogs prior to the sit, which laid all our minds at ease.
We had regular updates while away, and came home to three very happy dogs, and a house that was cleaner than when we left it...
