Hi! We are a couple looking to keep with the adventure of housesitting while saving some money to get our own place. I'm Catalina, I'm 32 years old and my partner Matias is 30. I'm from Argentina and he's from Uruguay and we met here in New Zealand. We are both fully vaccinated.
Matias is a Web Developer that works for a company in Uruguay that has clients from around the world, currently working for USA, Uruguay and Peru. He works from home with his computer so that makes us pretty flexible and he can take care of any place and pets.
Catalina runs a Gelato Shop outside Christchurch City so she's a full time hard worker and entrepreneur.
Catalina has always been the person who friends call to take care of their homes when they are away and spend time with their pets. Matias used to be on a Woofing/Helpex scheme for a year here in New Zealand and he went from taking care of kids to livestock. He has 2 dogs back home and is passionate about pets.
You can expect from us someone to look after your house and pets full time given that Matias works from home and an excellent care and cleanliness of the place once you come home. We are non-smokers, tidy, respectful, very committed and quiet, we enjoy a night out as a couple but are more into a nice movie from the couch.

This was our first time using pet/housesitters and of course we felt a little nervous before meeting Cata and Mati. First time we met up we felt an instant connection and all our concerns vanished. Cata and Mati are such a wonderful, warm and loving couple and we could tell straight away that Taiko felt happy and relaxed in their company too. We were so happy with how Catalina and Matias looked after our two dogs. We got sent daily updates about them and you could tell the dogs were very happy. The house was left clean and tidy and everything was well looked after. We have no issues recommending Catalina and Matias - they are such lovely people and amazing house sitters.

We cannot begin to express our gratitude to Cata and Mati for looking after our furbabies and house while we were abroad for 6 weeks. They were phenomenal and went above and beyond in every aspect of their housesit. NONNY (Cashmere South Island, Aug 2022 - 1 month 1 week)
We were so lucky to get Catalina and Mathias to look after our cats, dogs and house for a week. Communication was great and replies to messages were prompt. Unfortunately there was terrible rain at the time but the dogs were still walked and taken care of. We came home to happy animals and a clean house. We would have them back any time.

Catalina and Mati were great sitters! They were great with our dog Zoe, who can be a bit shy. Took her for lots of walks and lots of cuddles. They shared daily updates with us, which we really appreciated. We came home to a clean and tidy home , a lovely card and chocolates!

Catalina was an absolute star to have as a Housesitter. Our cat was very well looked after and so was our home, she left it totally spotless and clean. I would absolutely recommend Catalina! I really hope to have her come and stay again for future sits! Highly recommend!
