I’m an animal lover and enjoy looking after people's animals and home while they're away. I had been a house/petsitter on and off for about six years (2014 - 2020) while living on the Gold Coast, Australia. I returned to New Zealand March, 2020 and have been housesitting and travelling around the country (mostly the South Island) in my campervan ever since. I'm an ideal sitter as I'm mature, responsible and experienced with small to medium-size dogs, all types of cats, small birds and chickens. I enjoy looking after house plants and gardens (watering or mowing lawns) and keeping your home safe, clean and tidy. I lead a healthy, clean and active lifestyle and thoroughly enjoy meeting people, being with animals and in nature. I can provide character references if required.
Please note: Unfortunately, due to the rising costs of petrol and food, I now charge a small daily fee of $25. If the petsit is for longer than 7 days, the fee is $20 per day.

Sheree was awesome ,it was though we had been friends for a along time. she bonded with the dog immediatley and when the sit was over and Sheree left Lily has been sitting outside Sherees bedroom door for several days, that says it all, you couldnt ask for a better sitter, we will certainly be asking for her in the future. Sheree made certain that she had all the information that she required prior to house sitting for us. She spent some time getting to know the animals a few days before we were due to leave and was very thorough with her questioning. Anything she was unsure of eg where to find something or an animals issue Sheree readily communicated with us. Upon return the house was tidy and most importantly the animals were relaxed and happy, given that there was 5 of them says a lot.

I was so thankful to have Sheree look after my cat and home. My cat is very timid but loves company, I came home to a very happy cat and spotless home. Sheree took the time to send me regular messages, photos & a video of my cat which were lovely to receive. I would not hesitate to have Sheree housesit again and highly recommend her.

Sheree gave us a great intro to the world of kiwi housesitting, looking after our home and cat brilliantly. Sheree was an excellent house sitter for us for 3 weeks. The house was well looked after, we felt very comfortable leaving our home and pets in her care. The cats were so well looked after that i think they were actually sorry to see us home again!

Sheree has been a fantastic house sitter. From our first contact and arranging to meet she has been easy to contact and quick to respond keeping me informed about her arrival in Christchurch. During the house sit one of the cats needed daily medication and Sheree took care of this diligently. We returned home to find the place clean and tidy and the cats both very relaxed and happy. Sheree looked after our cat and home for one week. She was friendly and easy to talk to. She sent us update and pictures. It was our first time using a house sitter but we felt completely comfortable leaving her to look after the house. When we arrived home the house smelt clean and fresh. We'll be sure to use her again
