Hello.......we are a retired non smoking fully vaccinated couple. We have been house sitting in New Zealand since January 2017 looking after lovely homes and delightful pets whom we have become very attached to as we have done several sits in both Islands.
We arrived back in New Zealand early November 2022 after spending six months in the UK catching up with our daughter and grandchildren and have now resumed house sitting.
We would take great care to look after your home as if it was our own. We have been told that we are "fastidious" at looking after a property!

Ann and John looked after Milly while we had a wonderful two week holiday in the Sth isalnd. Milly was so well cared for I think she was a bit dissapointed when we came home and Ann and John had to leave!. She was given a long walk every day and showered with cuddles and love. She even had a friend to stay (another schnauzer called Scotty) who she adored. Ann was a great communicator and we had regular photos and updates. Ann and John had references that spoke so highly of them I knew we would be foolish to let them slip thru our fingers and contacted them immediately. Following easy communication we met them and they were lovely and relaxed people that we knew our cats would appreciate. It was such a comfort having them take on our sit. Ann and John were fantastic fur-baby sitters for our 2 cats, Ziggy and Bindi. Ann sent pics regularly and we came home to 2 contented and relaxed cats. Thankyou for taking care of our house so well. Lovely and clean when we returned, the hens were very happy and there was even a fresh bottle of milk in the fridge waiting for us when we got home. So thoughtful.

I can only reiterate all previous reviews, Ann & John were fantastic and could not ask for better house sitters. Raf my dog perfectly happy and well cared for, my home immaculately clean, lawn and edges all done and garden tidied up after flush of spring growth, including deheading roses, All a pleasure to come home to.

It was a pleasure having Ann and John look after Kuma and Kiba when we were on holiday! Ann was super communicative throughout and took a couple of minor hiccups in stride. We arrived home to a spotless house and both Kuma and Kiba looked as though they had been taken well care of during our trip. Would definitely recommend Ann and John as housesitters and would choose them again!

Ann & John were amazing. It was our first experience with having house sitters. They cared for our dog like he was their own and we came home to a clean and tidy house. They even left fresh fruit and milk for us. We got regular photo's and updates during our time away which was lovely.

Ann & John were amazing and we would highly recommend them. Wonderful people that took great care of Bronte and Willow and looked after our house and pool beautifully. Well we could not have chosen a more perfect couple in Ann and John for our Housesitter. The dog, cat, house and property were looked after as if they were their own. Ann and John are great sitters. Prior to the sit we had email contact and were able to stay together two days before our departure. We felt very comfortable about leaving our house and cat in their hands. Ann kept regular email or whatsapp contact and sent photos so we knew how happy and well cared our cat was. No rating Ann and John were very reliable, good communicators and looked after our overgrown ranch like it has never been looked after before. We were away for three months and came back to tidiness and a cat looking very well, in spite of its protestations that it hadn't been fed while we were away. :-D Ann and John, we would be delighted to recommend you for any house-sit. No rating John was a most caring and trusted person. He kept the house spotless, the lawns and edges mowed, the gardens weeded and shrubs pruned. A workaholic. Our cat was spoilt. We would love to have him back.

No rating Ann and John was the loveliest people that could have possibly stayed in our house with our dog Gigi. They were loving and kind towards Gigi and we all instantly warmed to them. They not only did a great job looking after the property and plants, but left the home and surrounds in a much better condition by doing jobs in and around the house. I cannot think of anyone better to look after a property and pets than these two lovely people.
