Hi,

We are a small, healthy family of 3, currently building our forever home in the Bay of Islands. We've had the honour of looking after people's homes and pets several times over the last 2 years and have enjoyed caring for a variety of pets.

We are familiar with high-energy dogs (Darren grew up with police dogs in the house) and we've had several 4-legged family members, boxer dogs, ponies, cats, guinea pigs, along with a couple of crazy hens, some skinks and fish.

Because we have owned our own properties and still retain some in Wellington, we know the value of looking after someone's home and sensibly managing any issues that might arise in an owner's absence.

We have our own business called Global Albatross, which we operate remotely and are therefore home during the day to keep pets company and provide them exercise and enjoyment. Our 10 year-old has inherited our love of animals and provides unfaltering comfort to all animals, including to a bearded dragon on one of our sits.

A web address isn't allowed in profiles, but a Google search of the company will provide an overview of who we are. Our honesty and integrity has been recognised by independent judging panels and we carry this ethos through in both our business and personal interactions.

We look forward to discussing yours and your pet's needs so that while you are away, you can be confident your home and pets are cared for 100% in the way you desire.

Ali, Darren and Peyton took great care of our two dogs, our cat, our plants and house while we were away for two weeks. Ali is a great communicator, and would send regular updates about how the sitting was going, including cute pictures of our fur babies, which was definitely more than we had expected! The house was well looked after, and we found it as we had left it :). This was our first experience having someone housesit, and it exceeded our expectations... Anyone would be lucky to have Ali ... Thanks Ali, Darren and Peyton for being such fabulous housesitters. We would definitely have them back and they are at the top of our favourites list! Great communication, animals were relaxed and the house was spotless when we got back. An all round great experience :)

Ali was such a pleasure to deal with. Her communication was fast and clear, which made the process very easy. Ali and her family kept in touch during the sit, and even sent a lovely video of our dog in the park. They went out of their way to ensure the dog was well exercised on the last day, knowing our flight home was late. I would highly recommend Ali and her family as house sitters and would gladly contact them again. Thank you Ali

Ali, Darren and Peyton did a wonderful job looking after our house and pets. We had great communication both before and during the housesit with updates and photos while we were away. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned and our pets were happy and content. It is great to find good house sitters who you can trust. Ali, Darren and Peyton are a lovely family and I would recommend them to housesit for others.

I can highly recommend Ali, Darren and Peyton as fantastic house/petsitters! They kindly agreed to stay at short notice, allowing us to finally catchup with family in the South Island for Christmas after a year of lockdowns etc. They did such an amazing job, we asked them to stay for another week on their way home in January. :) Ali's communication was prompt and reassuring.
