HI! We are a family living in Auckland, we have been house sitting around NZ for a while now every time we have the chance as
we all 4 LOVE animals!!
I, Maria, grew up in a farm back in Argentina so I love and have experience with treating all kind of animals. My husband Mel is a gardener so he is an outdoors lover.
Our children are Salvador (7) and Bernardita (6)). They both are used to be around animals since they were little, but they specially love cats, horses & dogs. They can spend 24/7 giving them cuddles or just running around the garden with them. They are polite and respectful children.
We all 4 are a clean and responsible family. We can provide references of course.
We also have a house back in Argentina which we rent so we know how to take care of other people's houses as ours, we really do!
We always try to give back the houses better that how we received them as a thankful gesture for your trust.
Of course we are more than happy to do an online/in person interview to meet with you and your pets whenever suits.

Maria and Mel and their family were absolutely fantastic! Maria’s communication was great prior as well as during our trip, keeping us up to date as needed. We have 2 older dogs with one having health issues and they were very well looked after as well as all our other animals. Maria and her family were extremely respectful of our property, including our kids stuff and they put our daughters quickly at ease that their stuff would be well looked after ☺️. Our first time using housesitters and we were undeniably impressed and reassured with the care that our pets and paddock animals received let alone the house. Wonderful communication and photos each day showing the children feeding and playing with the animals. It was extremely reassuring to know that we had people caring for our property and animals as their own but on our terms. Very happy to return to a clean house and well fed and loved pets. Maria and Mel were absolutely amazing - we were a bit nervous being our first time using a house sitter, but we were so impressed with the whole experience, the place looked immaculate when we returned and the animals were happy and well fed - thanks so much for making it such an incredible experience for us!
Fantastic family. Really went the extra mile with looking after our animals and home. Made me feel really happy to go away and know that the animals were not only being looked after but given lots of love and care too. The dogs had so much fun! Would highly recommend them. Thank you Maria!
Wow, what can I say? Maria and Mel and their 2 little ones were absolutely amazing staying at our home and pet sitting/house sitting/keeping our gardens watered and the house immaculate....AND....coming home to a delicious banana bread and whole meal loaf that they'd baked for us! The communication and photos of the kids playing with our dog was exceptional. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Maria and Mel, and have every intention of keeping in touch with them, they're welcome in our home anytime!
Maria and Mel were awesome housesitters! Great communication, including updates on how our pets were going, and left our house beautifully clean and tidy. Would not hesitate to ask them to look after our pets and house again.
