THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU, is to arrive home after your holiday and find that your home, animals and pets have been treated with love and all is as it should be.
We are a clean living couple, both non-smokers and usually only drink on special occasions.
We no longer have any pets as they have all got old and passed away which gives us the freedom to travel.
Because we were farmers we have experience in looking after the following animals: dairy cattle, dry stock cattle, deer, sheep, cats, dogs and the odd horse. Kevin is a very hands on practical person and possesses a large measure of commonsense which means he will be able to attend to things such as the water pump breaking down or an overflowing water trough. He is very observant and will pick up very quickly if an animal is "off colour".
We are lucky enough to live by the sea in Napier and now that we are retired and away from the daily grind of work we wish to see other parts of New Zealand.
Carolyn's hobbies are sewing for the grandchildren, mountain biking, boating and gardening. Kevin's hobbies are making stuff in the shed, mountain biking and sailing.
We are willing to look at rural, lifestyle or city situations.

Carolyn and Kevin are a lovely couple who I highly recommend to anyone in need of housesitters. Their communication before and during the sit was great, my house and garden were very well cared for (in fact they were probably in a better state than when I left!). Most importantly I appreciated that my two dogs did not have to go to crowded kennels and were well cared for in their own home. Highly Recommended.
Carolyn and Kevin looked after our house and cat and we were more than happy with them. They were sweet enough to organize the start of their stay so we could meet, and on our return the house was spotless and the cat happy! We have asked them to return for another house sit, and feel completely confident in them.
This was our first experience using the site and there was no need for apprehension. Our review for Carolyn and Kevin is simply WOW! They are the perfect Housesitters. We met up prior to the planned sit. Carolyn and Kevin were very accommodating, friendly and trustworthy.
The house and yard were immaculate on our return, even down to replacing the chocs we had left for them. Molly and Bob our two dogs were in good steed too.

Carolyn and Kevin were wonderful on their 8 day stay with our girls. We came home to 2 happy puppies..clean and tidy home..sheets washed and beds remain. I would definitely use them again to watch over our home and doggies! Thankyou!

Carolyn and Kevin contacted us after our urgent ad was put up due to our previous housesitter cancelling.. While speaking to Carolyn on the phone I was reassured our house and fur baby would be in safe and very capable hands. In fact Carolyn and Kevin far exceeded our expectations, they left our house cleaner than they found it it and Kevin even mowed our lawns! They are such a down to earth, lovely couple, I highly recommend them!

Quite simply, they were perfect. Practical, kind, friendly and calm.
Bruce, our Border Terrier obviously loved them immediately. Our holiday house was left sparkling clean - they even washed our salty windows!

Carolyn and Kevin are wonderfully friendly people and true animal lovers. We spoke a couple of times before our house sit and both Carolyn & Kevin were very thorough with clarifying what was required.

Carolyn and Kevin did a fabulous job of taking care of our house and our fur babies. The house was immaculate when we returned home, the dogs had been very well cared for and had lots of long walks.
