We need a house sitter

Gisborne

4 bedroom executive home. Non smoking. Looking for a person or couple to care for 'Alfie' our maltese-shihtzu. He needs water, feeding and a daily walk or run at the beach or park. Also help with maintaining garden & lawn.
We would like to meet and handover before going away. No drinkers or smoking. Past experience with references would be useful.

I have had a wonderful time staying at the house, together with sweet little Alfie. He is such an adorable, happy dog, easy to look after and to have a great active time with. He loves his cuddles and to be included in whatever you you are up to, but also feels to leave you space if needed. Alfie is a very smart little dog. I miss him already. Hinemoa and Bruce are a lovely and very accommodating couple. Communcation was great and they opened their beautiful home to me. Their dog Alffie is wonderful and is full or energy and joy. I had a great time at their home and with alffie. I would happily recommend any person to do their house sits.

I can't say enough about how wonderful and welcoming Hinemoa, Bruce and the entire family are as people. Their home is absolutely beautiful and immaculate and their sweet puppy Alfie is as cute as they come. This was a dream housesit and I feel so blessed to now have beautiful whanau in Gisborne. I hope to housesit for them anytime they need in the future and if I am unable to, I will be very envious of whomever they choose. Consider yourself very lucky if you get to housesit for them! ...
